Answer:
THE TOP OF THE BRACKET IS WHERE THE TOP OF YOUR CURTAIN WILL REST, PROVIDED YOU ARE USING A 1 3/8" ROD. MEASURE 102" FROM THE FLOOR, THEN, HOLDING THE BRACKET TO THE SIDE OF THAT MARK / MARK WHERE THE MIDDLE OF EACH SCREW WILL GO INTO THE WALL.

Answer:
Place the screw plate in the bracket and pencil mark on the side of the bracket the where the center of the two screw holes are as your point of reference. With someone helping you, place the curtain on the rod and the rod on the bracket and raise the drapes to your desired height. The pencil marks on the bracket shows where you should drill so pencil mark the wall there.

I need these brackets (and rod and finials) to be off-white rather than white.

Answer:
THEY ARE PAINTED W/ A VERY HIGH-GLOSS PAINT, WHICH, I ASSUME, WOULD REQUIRE SANDING, BEFORE REPAINTING. IT WOULD BE EASIER TO PURCHASE AN UNPAINTED DOWEL.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by M.S. CURTAIN BRACKETS: THESE BRACKETS HAVE A CLEAN, & SIMPLE, LOOK / THEY WERE VERY EASY TO INSTALL / & THEY ARE STURDIER THAN I ASSUMED. September 27, 2016

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not as pictured These have ugly holes in two places and no filler plugs. August 6, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Looks great but bracket slides off wall hardware These were hard to install, directions not at all clear. When I did finally get them up, you have to open and close curtains very gently or the bracket will slide off the wall brackets and bonk you on the head with curtains, curtain rod, etc. Not a very good design, Martha! I had to buy two packages (2 each), as I needed 3 (but not 4) to install curtains for a sliding door in our living room. February 20, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very easy to install, and works great. These brackets work great, they are easy to install and helped us to overcome a size problem at a very affordable price. January 15, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wood Brackets Enough Said It is white wood bracket, easy to install, use to hold up light weight objects. I used mine to hold a LED tube lighting above my window. December 24, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by curtain rod bracket Simple and easy to install, good instructions with item. Took very little time to accomplish. February 10, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Simply.Amazing.Bracket This incredible bracket held up my curtain rod with the greatest of ease. It came out of the package silently, and put up no resistance when I mounted it to the wall. Placing the rod on the mounted bracket was a little tricky, but a quick review of the printed instructions (included) remedied the situation. Would buy again. A+++! December 29, 2015
