I was renovating a kitchen on a very limited budget so I need to re-purpose some furniture. I repainted both a buffet and a china cabinet with this paint. It is exactly what I wanted. Yes it dries quickly, but the look is very clean and because it sticks so well I didn't have to do any sort of prep work . The one thing I will say is that because of the rough texture you might not want to use it on anything you will touch a lot.

This stuff is pretty good. It's kinda thick, but if you play around with it and sort-of dry-brush it, it can go on pretty thin. It's a little expensive, and I'm tempted to say that you're better off with some modge-podge and loose glitter, but I like the finish of the paint - it's a flat finish, so really all you see is the glitter.
I would call it glitter paint more than metallic paint.
In the attached picture, this paint was used for the shimmer effect on the water. The picture quality isn't great, but you can see how much it sparkles.

This was simply black glitter paint. Not what I was expecting.

As others have said, it is very thick and quick to dry but the painting process went fairly quickly.I painted a large mirror boarder on my patio at night and I loved the way it looked! The next morning I hated it. The paint is dull, no sheen at all and the texture is very rough and the glitter seemed to sometimes clump in to balls. After applying a second coat and a high gloss finish I am happy with the way my mirror looks.

The product was super nice, it was a rich velvety black. It did have an overall velvet appearance once the paint dried and we loved that it didn't have too much sparkle! The glitter wasn't overdone and just added a nice amount of sheen. Just beware that this paint is super thick, if you are trying to cover a large area you might need to overestimate how much you need since it is so thick, but it gave excellent coverage!

I bought this for an iron bakers rack and a wooden shelf. It looks great, just want I wanted, as far as looks go. However applying this paint was a huge pain!!! It dries quickly and is beyond thick. Because of the quick drying and gilttery consistantcy, touch ups were difficult. Use a good brush and lots of patience, and you will have a great look!

I used these paints to upcycle a plastic Barbie house into a spooky Monster High house for adult-quality collection. I used black, grey and silver. To apply, it is best to scrape on with a knife and then spread with a stiff but soft bristled brush. If you go quickly, the brush marks are almost non-existent. Once you finish an area, if you wet/dab your brush and go back and pounce or blot areas, the sparkle will spread around and give a more mottled look to the point where no streaks can be found at all. I dry-brushed the silver over dk grey with a stencil brush to make "individual bricks" for a castle look and it is amazing!! You will be tempted to want to spray seal due to the scrapiness of the finish, but using the sealer that comes with it gives a really nice touch. High-gloss gives a different look alltogether! A little goes a long way, even though it does not seem like it will. Once dray, the pebbley looking areas do not fall off. You do not actually have to seal at all but for a toy, I did. No priming required at all - even on plastic and I got this advice from someone else who already did it. Now that they lowered the price, I gave 5 stars for value but I would not buy anything else.
