Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Harder than it looks This is what I learned: 1: do a sample on a board using different stains and to find out how thick to make the crackle paint. I used oat and had to do the process over after getting it too thin the first time. Definitely use a spatula to put the paint on, not a brush. .2: I used a pecan stain and I couldn't even tell it was there. Then I used a dark (Jacobean) stain and it worked great. 3: This takes lots of practice, I believe. I may still scrap my project and start over, but I'm waiting a few days to see if I like it better. With practice it would be great!!! not for beginners!! February 8, 2012
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Does not work Purchased product before reading reviews. Before using, researched and found that the product did not work for some. Followed directions on the jar, but nothing happened. The end tables I was trying to refinish turned out to be a big disappointment. Will probably have just scrap project or start over. June 1, 2013
