Answer:
Absolutely skyskyyy!
Glitter paint can be applied directly to walls or you might mix with faux glaze, four-parts glaze to one-part paint, if you want to disperse the glitter.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Awesome!! Bought this a while ago at home depot. I was fully aware of what kind of paint this is. It's thin and have to do may coats. And for a larger area don't use a brush use a roller. My "tool" box turned out awesome! Couldn't be happier. I wish HD didn't discontinue this paint :( July 31, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Streaks Galore I bought two jars of this for a one wall project for my daughter s room. I applied this over a near exact match pink color base paint for more emphasis. I first applied it on half the wall using the directions, with a brush. It was exhausting and when dried looked absolutely awful. I tried to do the other half of the wall with a roller, which was better, but still so streaky that it looks cheap, tacky and not at all what you would think it would look like. It is very pricey and goes on thin, and no matter how I put elbow grease in to make it even, it never looked right. I did three coats of this stuff and its so bad that I now have to start from scratch and figure out how to cover it. Super disappointed. April 5, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice sparkle I used this over a pine wood that I did not prime. The color looks a bit bold in the jar but is in fact very sheer. It took about 3 coats to really put some color down and it's still quite sheer even after 3. The sparkle has a greenish hue and compliments the color. I was going to put the sheerness of this as a con but I suppose it's not really if you just want a subtle sparkle. I really like the Martha Stewart line. I've used a lot of her items and all have come out with great results. You'll notice you can still see the wood grain in the photo. November 13, 2012
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by very thin poor coverage the paint is very thin. after several coats over white , it didn't cover very well. after painting the object with another pink paint first, and then applying this on top, i got the result i was looking for.the paint isn't thin/watery, just thin coverage.i got it to spray with an airbrush and it had to be thinned to spray. even applying with a brush it had poor coverage. it has a very rough texture when dry, like sandpaper. even after some light sanding and several coats of clear it was still rough. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Took 7 coats to get the desired finish!!! I bought this paint for a small craft project. I had primed and sanded the wood and then applied. The first coat was next to nothing for coverage. It took about 7 coats of the pink to get the look shown on the jar and for the blue 7 coats was still not enough. Save your money!!! Great idea, horrible product! August 12, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Don't follow the directions. My daughter had to have glitter paint so I tried the Martha Stewart Glitter paint. I tried following the directions and brushing the paint on and it turned out very very bad. So I tried to just use a normal roller and it turned out great. You just have to really try to make certain to make an even coat. So don't stop because you will see any double layers. October 21, 2011
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by too many layers I returned. Because you have to add too many layers . and it is expensive . March 11, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by So Disappointed!!!! Used paint against another pink, because once I opened in store, I saw how thin it was.....hence forth the name LUSTER! Worked hard to apply and brush in to prevent streaks, well no luck! Even though from a distance it looks really nice, up close you can see streaks and strokes from where I started and stop. Would only recommend on small craft projects (if then). June 2, 2012
