Hello CJ, It is possible to use these latches with soft-close cabinets in many situations, but it depends upon whether the force applied to the door by the hinge spring is enough to close the latch and the door. Unfortunately this is very dependent on the hinge and the size of the door, so it can be difficult to determine prior to installation. If the soft-close on the cabinet is adjustable it may Read More

Answer:
Polished Nickel is definitely warmer than Chrome, which has cool blue undertones. Nickel, on the other hard, has warm yellow undertones. It will most likely clash with chrome. I personally prefer Polished Nickel over chrome. It has a classy, timeless, and versatile look.

Answer:
The Bedford Nickel finish is a slightly textured warm gun metal grey. It is not intended to be a brushed nickel, as some people in the reviews have mistakenly thought they were ordering. I love both the Bedford Nickel and Polished Nickel finishes- I've got no experience with the Bedford Brass.

Rated 3.2 out of 5 by 69 reviewers.
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Looks Cheap Although the price was a little lower than similar latches I could find on other websites, the quality of the product was a lot lower. The brushed nickel color looks painted on and not like real metal. The latch itself was functional. I decided to return it for a product that would look better. October 13, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by attractive product very attractive, not really able to hold doors if pulled. Possibly not correct type of cabinet doors. September 13, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Marred finish This was the exact replacement part we needed however the finish was terrible. We would have sent it back but needed to finish our project September 27, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Just what I needed - looks and works great selected it on the website and had it shipped for free to the local store. March 31, 2016

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Just what I was looking for This was exactly what I needed for a bathroom vanity to make it look like a period piece. February 11, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Just what I was looking for We were looking to replace old cupboard catches with a new, updated color - brushed nickel. We looked EVERYWHERE and could not find them. There they were in Home Depot - but as a special order. They are exactly what we wanted and are of good quality. Thank you! December 8, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Classic Catch at Reasonable Price This old-time catch was exactly what I was looking for although hard to track down through Home Depot. It is not available in the stores only on-line and not available from my local stores. After calling Home Depot customer service, they were able to help me track down these catches. They added a decorator touch to my 1929 kitchen. July 28, 2015
