Customer Questions & Answers

Does this rack fit 40" wrapping paper rolls?

Does this rack fit 40" wrapping paper rolls? I know the standard roll is 30", but we get many rolls that are 40" for larger package wrapping.
Asked by: Ariathwen
Yes, this rack will fit those paper rolls.

Can this hang on the wall?

I would like to know if this hutch can be mounted on the wall.
Asked by: PaperPlexed
Absolutely - That's where min is. We have it so the bottom of this piece is about 12" above my craft desk. That gives me enough room below to set things without touching the bottom of the hutch. Bare in mind that it is heavy even without anything in it so be sure to use some good wall mollies to anchor it and doesn't rip out the wallboard.

Customer Reviews

42 in. W Picket Fence Craft Space Gift-Wrap Hutch is rated 3.3 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great addition to craft room! The product only loses a star because it was very difficult to put together. However, I LOVE it! The wrapping paper dowels fit perfectly - I noticed the other reviewers said they didn't fit - maybe it was put together incorrectly! Everyone who sees it wants one, and I definitely recommend it. It's a great addition to my craft room, I just wish I would have had this years ago!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Gift wrap hutch Instructions for putting this together were horrible. I had to use my own screws. That being said, the piece is very sturdy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid Product - EXTREMELY difficult to put together. Assembly Directions Horrible. Finished Product Great. Now that this has been put together, it is a nice solid piece. HOWEVER, the assembly directions for this piece were a nightmare. It is EXTREMELY difficult to put together and you definitely need two people. Check and double check at each step. Also, the assembly hardware was not good quality, we had a cam break and one bend. Which stinks since they don't give you any extras and we had to make due. This piece says it take the Martha Stewart Cubby Drawers. It only accommodates the small 4" drawers. Two on each end and you can put three in the middle, but there is too much extra space, so I only used two in the middle and left a space. The total price I paid for this piece was $199.00 plus $50.00 plus for the cubby drawers. Pricey in my opinion for what it is. After all is said and done, I'm happy with it. It was the right piece for what I needed and it works for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice addition to my crafting space I bought this mainly so I could have an organized space for all my ribbon. It will easily hold over 50 rolls. So nice to be able to just pull it down and snip or design with and then easily roll back up. I haven't been using the wrapping paper rolls for that purpose as mine is mounted above a MS Living craft desk. I do hang other items up there. I like having the cubbie. It works great for me. I have bought other MS Living pieces and although they can be a bit challenging to assemble (you have to thoroughly read the instructions). I have done it by myself.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looks great I will admit to being somewhat leery after reading some of the reviews as they pertained to assembly. The item arrived promptly and I had absolutely no trouble getting it together. The hutch looks great and I have since ordered three more items from the same line.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This product should not be purchased. A nightmare to assemble, terrible instructions, and is not functional. Do not buy this product. Difficult to assemble, poor quality and falls apart when you put the wrapping paper on the dowel.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor quality, falls apart while assembling This product falls short in many ways. It is poor quality and falls apart while being assembled. The dowels don't fit properly and fall out of the side panels, therefore don't hold the wrapping paper as pictured.
