I ordered mine on the home depot web site. It is the Golden Harvest 1 gal paste model #209814 The one gal size was much more than I needed for the job but it worked great.

The product I chose was "GH-57" Universal wallpaper and border paste. One 32 oz. container will paste approximately 62 square feet. I used it to paste up a double roll and have a lot left. Easy to use with a paint brush or roller...then just clean while it is wet with regular water/dishsoap.
Check for this product at Home Depot, possibly on-line only, or google it and order that way.

I ordered online the wallpaper, the Gallon paste recommended and applied it with the small roller; however, I only did one bathroom vanity, and have enough paste left over to do my entire house. It worked wonderfully and dried without odor. I believe any wallpaper paste that is recommended for wallpaper would work just as well.

I ordered it right from the home depot site, when I ordered the wallpaper, it was shipped directly to my home. It is simply paste for unpasted wallpaper. I would recommend using a paintbrush to apply it to the wall, the coverage seemed better than with a wallpaper paste brush.

You'll have to decide if you want pre-mixed paste or a powder you mix yourself. Assess the amount you'll need depending on the size of your project ( quart,gallon,5-gallon?) The details on the paste products share an approximate square foot they'll cover. I prefer pre-mixed. Overall, look for a universal paste/adhesive. Good luck!

I used the remnants of an old quart of wallpaper paste I already had, but Home Depot has paste you can order on line to be shipped with the wallpaper if your local store doesn't carry any paste (very surprising?! ) Don't forget to size/prime the wall first, as well.

Our surface was a kind of plaster wall, actually cement board. I don't know how it would work on a textured wall. You could always try a small section to see.

This wall covering is quite thick and I can't see it pulling away if you used the proper paste. I'm not an expert but if it were me and I was concerned about the surface I'd prime it first with a paint primer. Good luck!

Hi, I don't have any experience with this type of fiberboard, but the wallpaper is quite robust, and you may not have any problems. I would definitely prime the walls first. If they are not painted, perhaps painting and then priming would seal up the fibers even more. Hope this helps.

It is spongy, but that's a good thing (as Martha would say) because it gives depth to the pattern and doesn't crease easily. It looks like real beadboard. I didn't find it teared incredibly easily. It's not at all difficult to work with, great pattern, easy to line up sheets and it's just a good product, even for first-time wallpaperers like me.

It is very spongy- like thin foam. It tears VERY easily... but is perfect for ceilings, or the back of a bookcase. I would never use it where it could get kicked, or hit with something, but higher than 5' high, just for an accent is perfect.

I feel that this product looks almost as good as the real thing (bead- board). As installing real wood was impossible without tearing cabinets and molding off the walls (the house is only 10 years old), this was the only alternative.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great! Really great and easy to use! It's a little foamy, and creases easily, so be careful during application. June 28, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good Wall Paper I liked this product. Although, if you're looking to cover wall surface imperfections with this wallpaper, forget about it. It shows every little blip. Otherwise I liked it. August 2, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great look, easier than traditional beadboard This wallpaper was great quality--thicker than what I expected, kind of "spongy" and easy to paint and clean. I used it to cover the risers of my steps, so found that it was easier for me to cut the pieces first, then apply paste and attach rather than attach then cut as stated in the instructions. Working in a small area made it harder to cut after it was applied to the surface. I had 15 stair risers to do, and I have a TON of wallpaper left for another project! August 9, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointing Wallpaper Disappointed in this wallpaper. Looked nice once I put it up and painted it, however, it's very easy to puncture and rip. Not very happy when you walk by and see a rip on it!. It kind of has a "foam" feeling to it versus paper, which I think make's it not as "tough". August 2, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointed After reading all the rave reviews here and on other DIY websites, I bought two rolls to install in a bathroom. While it was easy to put up -- lining up the seams -- I honestly think installing REAL bead board wainscoting would have been easier. For one thing, your walls have to be perfectly flawless and flat with no dings or imperfections in the drywall. If not, these will show through the wallpaper. Perhaps the worst part of this wallpaper is how fragile it is. I accidentally bumped the wall with my thumbnail after installing and left a gash in the wallpaper. Not even three coats of high quality interior paint seems to have made a difference in the wallpaper's durability. It's still spongy and still prone to scratching and denting at the even slightest touch. I understand that the thicker spongy construction of the wallpaper is necessary to create the grooves of actual bead board while keeping the wallpaper light; however, I feel the sponginess is what that makes the wallpaper too fragile to put up in any high traffic area like a bathroom. Perhaps it works fine on cabinet doors like some people are doing. But for me, I'll probably have to replace the marred wallpaper with real bead board in a few months or so. July 15, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Really easy to put up The wallpaper was extremely easy to measure, cut and apply--just put the paste on the wall and stick the paper on. It seems to hold very well and is easy to match. I would recommend this to anyone. July 13, 2016
