Purchased this Damask and Bead board wallpaper to redo My bedroom in my log cottage home. The building was built in 1936 and has numerous flaws in the walls. The damask is the bomb, nothing shows through at all, the bead board is very nice but is far less forgiving, as the pile is low to smooth. I highly recommend the damask to anyone with imperfect walls. I can not say enough good about it. I have used mostly pre pasted paper in my limited wall papering experience, but I found paint the glue to the walls and applying very easy, and less messy . Was going to paint it white anyway, but decided to leave it and paint it down the road when it needs it. Any questions please feel free to ask!

I am afraid that I shall have to return this wallpaper. It is not prepasted. I did not think that any wall paper sold today would not be prepasted. In the meantime, I have used paintable paper before and loved it. This particular pattern is very attractive (in the package) but unfortunately will not be going on my walls. If I was going to do the entire wall, things may have worked, however, I am only doing half the wall, so using glue would be an impossible. task.
The service was great with Home Depot and the delivery was fairly fast. I will certainly be shopping on line with you again, and hopefully have more luck.

Agree with Bizou! This wallpaper is GORGEOUS! It is not difficult to put up at all. In fact, who would prefer to use the 1970s method of putting the wallpaper in the water and hoping to smooth it on the wall without bubbles and goop everywhere. The "new" way of applying the paste on the wall and putting on the roll is SOOOO much better. The only recommendation I would change is that you should pre-cut the wallpaper so that the pattern matches up. Much easier to pre-cut then trying to trim whilst already pasted on the wall. A fabulous product. The picture on the website does not give it justice.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by bizou fyi, here's how the rating system works
The number of stars should refer to the quality of the product, not the reading comprehension of the reviewer. This wallpaper is great, covers walls that might not be flawless (as an owner of an older home, that means my walls!). In the website description of this paper, you're told up front that you have to paste the walls, and the fact that this paper is not pre pasted is also right there on the packaging. I have to say that giving this product one star because you didn't fully read the description of what you were buying seems unfair to me, not to mention that the previous reviewer admits to not even used the product (since she's sending it back), so I don't really see how she can give it any kind of rating at all. Not a rant, just feel that blaming the product for your own mistake isn't quite fair. Great paper, gives an elegant Victorian look to a room when it's painted cream or white.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by MommyRN durable yet beautiful!!
I purchased this product to add texture and color to the bottom third of my walls. The wallpaper is superb in quality. As I applied it to the walls,I frequently had to rip it off to realign and it did not tear. I primed my walls prior to application. I used universal wallpaper glue and applied it directly on the wall. The only caveat is that I wasted soo much paper trying to align the design...so order extra. After allowing a few days to dry, I painted the wall paper using a roller. I absolutely love this product and would recommend it anyone!! The wallpaper is just as beautiful if left white.

Very pleased with overall ease of installation and final outcome. Great way to cover our old, imperfect plaster walls.

The wood top on the end-table was spoiled from water damage, so I primed the table, used Super Adhesive spray to attach the wall paper, painted it light lavender, then sealed it with polycrylic.
The product was extremely easy to use, I just had to make sure I lined the patterns up and I was good to go.
The end table looks brand spanking new!
Thanks for selling such a great product. I wonder where I will use it next.

This was my first attempt at wallpapering and it went so smoothly. Everyone kept telling me what a nightmare it was but I was pleasantly surprised, I think because the paper was so easy to work with. The hardest part was cutting in the edges, so I'd recommend making sure you have a very sharp razor or utility knife, when I swiched mine out it went that much faster. I did this in my kitchen so I had to work around my cupboards and numerous plugs but it turned out so fantastic! I seriously can't stop staring I love it so much. I used a primer first and a universal paste. I recommend a smoothing tool over the brush as the paper is textured. Love the design and the fact that it's paintable. I worry a little about the material in the kitchen but it's nice I can paint it if it gets dirty or bored.
