The engineering of these drawers is ah-maz-ing. I couldn't believe how they came in the box and how exactly they were supposed to go together. The drawers open to the full depth, thereby giving you more room for items without them getting lost in the depths of the back of the drawer. The slides for the drawers are very sturdy and high quality. The only con I have is that I couldn't customize the drawer pulls. I would've loved an option to pick the drawer pull that matched the rest of my decor.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Michael They look GREAT but are a pain in the wrist to assemble.
With the slides attaching exactly the same on the 4", 8" and 12" drawers I seriously question why there isn't at least a hole in the drawer side to at least start the screws that hold the drawer portion of the slide. Having the four sides mitered and held together by the paper laminate is as curious as they come and worked well on two of the three pieces but on the third drawer one corner was torn and detached which was a bit of a hassle but was fixable. The glue packets are essentially useless. I used a wood glue that worked much better than the first glue packet that I tried. Have the sides of the drawers set to screw in the screws without having to drill and use a paper template and this is probably a five star, five value product.

I have assembled a lot of furniture. We are talking room fulls and all different manufacturers.
These are the worst drawers and I have never seen a design like them. The concept is great (no seems at corners and easily put together. Unfortunately it doesn't work.
All 4 drawers had at least one corner seam broken out off the box. Most of the time at least one other broke during assembly. The only corner that seems sturdy is the one that uses pegs as connection. Unfortunately you need to hammer this side in (very tight fit) and during that process the chance that one of the other corners break is very high. The break at the corner seems is not pretty and takes some off the laminate off on the other corner side.
I used real wood glue and also nailed them together not trusting that the laminate and wood glue that holds the corners together will last.

For the price I paid at Home Depot($49), I expected much more from these drawers. They are not pre-drilled for the drawer slides and they have to be glued together and left to dry. They are of a super cheap quality. I was not impressed with them at all

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Justin This product was a hassle!
We (me and my wife) were putting three of the "8 in" drawers together, two worked fine. However the third was unsealed by the manufacturer, completly seperated into four sides which the clue could not hold. Very frustrating!

I bought this drawer as part of my overall closet remodel. Very impressed with the ease of putting the drawers together and the quality of construction is excellent. The drawers I purchased allow for a custom look without a non custom price. Below is more overall review of the Martha Stewart Closet System.
After remodeling our master bathroom my wife decided we needed new closets converting our wire frame shelving to something more "professional" looking. After using several different online design tools the Martha Stewart Closet Design tool was by far the best for a couple of reasons. First, it was easy to use and save my designs. Second, loved the ability to add to the cart directly from the tool so once I had my design done I didn't have to hunt for all the parts to build and buy. Third, by building online I was able to refer back to my design when installing the closet systems. As far as the quality of the product I think it was just about like everything else in the market but less expensive. Lastly, the installation was fairly easy. Once I figured out where to put the rail that basically held the closet systems installing was a breeze. Everything goes together very well and the final product was better than expected. The product was delivered to my house on a 4 x 6 pallet and well packed. No damage to any carton and I had everything I needed to build and install. Happy wife, happy life!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by rhldr Good quality drawers with modest assembly skills
I purchased only two drawers based on previous poor reviews, however I found the drawers to be well made. Take care removing them from the box, the segments are tied together at the corners and you should not separate them. A bit of wood glue (supplied) on the corners and dowels quickly assembles the drawer. I agree that having the slide holes pre-drilled would have earned 5 stars, but the template was easy to use to locate and install. The full-length slides are worth the extra effort.

I bought three 8 inch, one 4 inch and one 12 inch deluxe drawers for the expresso closet storage system. All the 3 & 4 inch drawers arrived with the side walls seperated (torn apart). I used the supplied white glue and put them together. So far so good, but of course I am concerned about how long the repair will hold.
