We just bought this tree today at our local store, brought it home, set it up (went up surprisingly easy) and noticed immediately that about four branches of lights were out. My husband said he would look at it so I spent (wasted) about an hour and a half fluffing the branches, and it did look very pretty once I was done, except for the four branches of burned out lights. We then spent another hour and a half testing all the fuses and tracing down cords, to no avail. Then some of the working lights began to flicker and we noticed a loose connection at one of the plugs on the trunk of the tree. At this point, we were done! It is back in the box and going back to the store tomorrow. What a disappointment.

I bought this tree in the store. There was no model set up so I was taking a chance on good ol' Martha's good taste and quality control. Got it home and had it fully set up in about 40 mins. Takes some fluffing, but what fake tree doesn't. It looks great! I like the needles on the outer end of the branches, as they look very realistic. The interior portion of the branches are the old kind of fake needles, but once you get all the ornaments on you can't even see them. This is a slim tree, but it still has a nice base width. Fits nicely into a corner without taking up too much space. We bought it for our guest house and it doesn't overtake the 20x22 living room space. Four sections of the tree fit right into one another and the lighting/electrical connection runs through the center pole. I would have given it 5 stars, but a few of the older style needles did come loose while fluffing. Only 2-3, but it will probably happen more each year. GREAT TREE!

Heavy 9 ft tree, non-LED lights, easy to assemble, made (where else?) in China. Two strings of lights inoperable - not because of fused light, but faulty plug. We re-strung the lights to fill black holes, and tree looks great - but will have to replace the strings when we take it down.
The Shape is good, but hanging ornaments isa bit tricky - the main branches have thick. stiff needles, and ordinary hooks are barely insertable - we lost a good dozen or more glass ornaments that simply would not stay on. There are secondary branches of lighter needles that are better, but well inside the tree perimeter.
The base is strong and supportive, and the tree "feels" stable. The lower branches are a little close to the floor, so putting presents under the tree is not practical unless they are small and the morning Santa has long, thin ams. The foot switch is practical and the cord length reasonable - but you'll need and extension if more than a couple of feet from the nearest outlet.
It will do us for a couple of years, but not more unless the lights prove easily replaceable with LEDs - who needs the old-fashioned energy hogs ? For long-term use, get an LED tree - the cost is coming down faster than a rock, and the savings in electricity are significant.

We have vaulted 14' ceilings in our family room and decided this year that the 6' tree just wasn't cutting it anymore.
We decided on this tree because a combination of appearance, pre-lit, and cost.
I ordered online and picked up the tree yesterday. The tree was waiting for me at Customer Service. The box is extremely large and heavy (for a christmas tree). If you have any doubts about lifting it, I would have a store employee help you, which they did offer to me, though I declined. I have an SUV and the box fit in the back nicely. It "may" fit in some larger cars, though getting it through a side door would be a tough job. The box dimensions are 60"X18"X21" and the box weights 70lbs.
The tree comes with a stand and the tree itself is sectioned into 4 tiers, all numbered. As stated in the description, the tree is pre-lit and the lights are already installed. And of course there are directions, though they really are not needed, as putting this tree together is extremely simple. And there are spare lights and fuses included as well.
As mentioned, setup is extremely easy. The lights connect from section to section through the "trunk" of the tree, pretty ingenious. I found the lights to be well distributed throughout the tree, and only required a few touch ups here and there.
It took me about 90 minutes to setup the tree and unfold and, for lack of a better term, fluff the branches. And to be perfectly honest, I spent part of that 90 minutes answering work emails and taking a few well-deserved cookie breaks.
I have read a few complaints about how long it takes to unfold the branches so the tree looks like its picture. Personally, it didn't take me long at all and the time it did take me was pretty fun, I enjoy setting up the Christmas tree.
The tree has two types of needles on it. The slightly cheaper variety are placed towards the center of the tree to help provide a full appearance. A higher-quality and better looking needle is placed at the end of the branches, and gives the tree a more realistic appearance and a very traditional looking silhouette.
A few tips for setup. First assemble the tree completely and plug-in prior to doing any "fluffing", just to ensure all of the lights work properly. Second, this tree has a LOT of branches, which I absolutely love. This is by far the fullest tree I have worked on. I found it easiest to start at the bottom of the tree, working from the trunk to the outer edge. This is not your fake tree from 20 years ago. Lastly, because it is so easy to assemble, I found taking the top-tier down and fluffing it at ground level, then lifting it back into place the easiest. This can be done multiple times with ease. So we have taken it back down to do a few of the decorations and to mount the tree topper.
All-in-all, I highly recommend this tree and would definitely purchase again. And while the box is incredibly sturdy (you can definitely use it to store the tree in and not worry about it falling apart) I opted to purchase a canvas tree storage bag.
Good luck and Happy Holidays!

Rated 5 out of 5Â by TxMom Beautiful Tree, GREAT Value!!!!
The quality of the tree is great, equivalent of those from Frontgate. It sets up in minutes, but just like any other quality tree it will take some time to fluff. Not only does each branch fluff, but there are additional smaller branches attached to each large branch!! I did not notice this till the second day we had it up. Each of the smaller branches fan out and fluff as well. It went from a full tree, to very full tree. The more time you spend fluffing the better it looks.
