Customer Reviews

Bellaire 7-Piece Patio Dining Set is rated 3.4 out of 5 by 25.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great Set, Disappointing Service The set was great looking and the quality was good as well. Sturdy table and chairs once everything was assembled had trouble with damaged chairs as you can see, but I got a fixer kit and you can barely see where I had to glue it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Assembly Instructions This dining set is not bad, but the assembly can be a challenge until figured out. But most of this COULD be cured by better instructions. I am an engineer with a lot of good tools so I got mine together but prior buyers have blasted the assembly process. Most of this could be corrected in the assembly sheet. The instructions casually, and correctly, say the arms are to be attached to the seat first, then to the back. I found that they should state that the ARMS ABSOLUTELY MUST be attached to the seat FIRST since it is about impossible to do so after the single bolt is attached to the back (unless you drill two holes larger.) Now for the swivel rocker chair. The written instructions for the metal plates are wrong and don't match the picture. The picture is correct. And you may need to double the foam tape in a few places to keep a few table tiles from rocking. If you survive all this, the set is OK.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Nice looking but poorly made side chairs ruin it. I would rate the table and swivel chairs "good". The quality of materials is good and they assemble reasonable well. Sadly, while the side chair material is good, the bracket on the legs that are supposed to match with pre-drilled and tapped holes in the seat do not match. Every single chair required drilling and tapping at least one hole and even then the legs didn't line up to my complete satisfaction.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Suffers from Very Poor Manufacturing Quality Control Should be relatively simple to assemble, however the quality of manufacturing is beyond poor when it comes to assembly fit. It's as if a grade-schooler was given a welder, a drill, and a tap set. The seat frames are cast/welded aluminum, while the seat is extruded/welded aluminum. The fit between the individual parts is terrible. Screw holes don't line up with the corresponding part. Brackets aren't welded square to the mating surface of the corresponding part. Halfway tapped screw holes. Side by side screw holes that aren't square with each other. Soft metal screws that round out easily. The list is goes on. Highly recommend unpacking all parts and finding the best of the bunch, then assemble them together. Call HD Customer Service for help with the rest. Prior to assembly, a metric thread tap/die set to chase the threads in the screw holes on the seat back and arm/leg parts would be a good investment. Attach the legs to the seat base first, then flex the whole thing to get the arm to attach to the seat back. Don't tighten any screws until you're sure that the piece is going to go together completely. Looks good, though.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from one of the table legs is cracked, and I cannot get a replacement unil July 15th, which is the middle of summer. I am very unhappy that I have a table I cannot use for two months until I get a replacement leg.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice but damaged ! Glad I got this on sale!! The set is nice but certainly not worth the original price. I was not home at the time of delivery so the boxes were left in my garage which is OK but the boxes with the chairs were stacked one on top of the other causing three of the chairs to have dents in the framework. Sould have been packaged better or a warning on the outside "not to stack them". The holes do not line up on one of the chairs and a screw became stripped and is now stuck. There were no extra screws!! So, I'm going to have to take the, almost assembled, chair to the store ~ buy a screw and hopefully have someone at Home Depot remove the screw that's stuck. Also, three of the tiles for the top of the table have chips on the outer edges!! Only one extra tile was provided. The cushions are very nice. The table and chairs are metal but look like wrought iron.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very nice outdoor set Assembly suggestion. When putting chairs together, start each screw by hand and leave loose until all parts are attached, then tighten screws one at a time. This "flex" helps in the assembly process. Some of the holes are not precisely aligned. Doing this approach helps ease assembly. Start with arm to chair back. Then screw back of seat to seat back. Remember just to hand twist screw until the threads catch. Then attach front of seat to chair leg. Finish tightening the screw at the arm and chair back, then the seat front to leg then finish with screws on seat to seat back. When attaching inside frame of table to leg as, be aware there is a silver name plate on the support. I was totally unaware and this piece is upside down. I tightened the screws too tight unable to remove them to flip it over. Hard to tell, but if know about it! Hope you find these tips helpful.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do Not Buy This Terrible. I ordered two sets. We were able to assemble one out of 12 chairs. Some chairs had no holes for the screws to go in, they simply were not drilled. Some the created in a way that the holes in no way lined up, making it impossible to assemble. The chairs were pretty in the picture but were not functional because they can not be assembled. Ive never been so frustrated with a purchase before.
