I bought this set late in the season last year. We live in a cold climate where we get 10 weeks at best where we can use this furniture. After 1 season or about 1o weeks of total part time use, the cushions are flat and puckered. The look bad and are uncomfortable.
Also, the chair seat that supports the cushion is plastic, and does stretch over time. Between the chair material stretching, and the cushions flat, the furniture is no longer comfortable.
We are not big tall people that may be hard on furniture. We paid nearly $600 for 2 chairs, they should last MUCH longer than 1 season!

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by KRforme Looks great but not all great
I bought 2 sets. The chairs look great but we had to do a lot of modifications to get them to look that way. Most obvious was the cushions looked like they had been stuffed into a box for years and still haven't shaped up. We also had to fight to get parts lined up and had to glue a small piece of a foot on. I find the cushions feel cheaper than previous moderately-priced outdoor furniture I've purchased, and they move around a lot when you sit. The armrests give a plasticy creak when you put weight on them, and I hope this settles as they break in. I'm keeping them bc they are mainly for show, in an area we don't sit much.

I purchased this product last summer. was really disappointed in it. cushions are thin and move around while sitting in it. the same thing for the ottoman.
the foundation for the seat is not very firm.
a real disappointment over all!!

We ordered this chair for the price. It seemed like a great deal for the chair and ottoman. The FIRST time we received it, we were missing the back to the chair, so you can't assemble anything. The ottoman cushion was smashed completely. We had to call the warehouse, as you can't return to the store directly. We waited a week and received the Back part and a new cushion. Well, the Back part did not align up with the sides. The holes are pre drilled and there is not way getting around it. We called the warehouse a SECOND time and they mailed out another Back piece. Well, it did NOT align up either. Which leads us to believe the sides are defective. We called a THIRD time and told them we either want a NEW complete set or a refund. No more pieces. They are mailing out this week to us. So, we will see if it works. This has been going on for a month now.

We were shocked when we received this product and put it together. The material used to make the chair was just cheap plastic and did not look like rattan. The cushions were of such poor quality that after sitting for approximately 1 hour they were out of shape and did not regain their original shape. Awful product!

Just recently received this furniture. Very easy to assemble and really comfortable. Only problem we have with this product is that the seat seems to sink down due to not having enough frame work to support your body, Instructions suggest not to exceed 300 lbs. I would not allow a 250 lb person to sit in this chair for fear that he/she would break the seat. I, personnaly am going to try to install a stronger seat to the chairs.

First. This furniture is so pretty, I don't want to put it outside, and, in fact, am going to use it in my front "sun" room, as indoor furniture. I have read of some problems assembling, and would like to make some suggestions. 1) Remember that the instructions are written by someone for whom English is not a first language. 2) Do not put plastic hex caps in place till all bolts are tight. 3) Have a helper, to hold things in place, while assembling. I did mine alone, and holding parts with your teeth, while trying to insert bolts is, to say the least, challenging. 4) Do not even snug bolts till all are in place. Turn about three turns with fingers. If bolts will not turn with fingers, you are cross threading them, they do turn easilly when correctly inserted, another reason for leaving them loose till all are in place. A metric socket set, or an adjustable metric socket pair of pliers (available at Home Depot), makes a huge difference. I would like to see weight limits, in product description. I would recommend this product to anyone.

we bought this set last August and love it. During our Wisconsin winter, we put it in our den for a really comfortable reading spot, and as soon as the snow melted we put it back out on the deck. It's big, it's comfortable, it's sturdy, and the cushions hold up well to our use and our Boston Terrier lying on it in the sun. We bought it assembled at the local Home Depot so there were no assembly issues for us. We would highly recommend it and plan on buying the matching lounge when we can afford it! Hope it goes on sale soon!
