i wanted something unique and different from the traditional/boring headrail with vertical blinds; therefore, after studying the curtain types, found the best option for higher trafficked areas in a home are grommet curtains.
home depot has limited options for grommet curtains, and colour choices. Also, these were 108" in length, and look nice giving the wall a taller appearance.
BEWARE: you only get one panel, ie one curtain. The Picture online shows 2, and this is not what comes in the package. You must order two, to make a pair. (i found out the hard way - and the homedepot reps in blinds were of no help on making me aware of this matter, even after helping me pick out the curtain based on dimensions of the window).
What I did do, was order one of this buckwheat flour colour (which is quite light, soft, and lets more light through) to be sandwiched in between two darker grommets of similar pattern, but a greener and slightly darker colour (snail shell) which can be found on Home Depot online.
I have mixed reviews on this, because you can find cheaper grommets online, if you search other department stores. However, the install at the top of the wall looks good.

i wrote a review on the similar grommet curtain, but different colour (the buckwheat). you may reference that, because my views on this are similar.
in my pic, it is the curtain on the left.
this grommet compared to the buckwheat colour is slightly darker (and greener), and filters out more light.
it was used to make a pattern with ordering 2 of these, and inbetween was the one buckwheat coloured grommet in matching style.

I love the colors as my home is open design and has the aqua cabinets and brown furnishings. The grommets make it lay neatly on the rod and fall much better. The curtains are darkening enough without being too dark.

These curtains are just perfect for my living room. I hate that the store one had one panel then stopped selling them so I ordered two more online. I then realized I needed one more. Once I finally had all of them in and up they look great.

These are really nice, and hang much prettier than the photo shows. They do allow light to shine through, which shows the texture in the fabric. It looks nice and give them a lighter look too. The pattern on the end is not too busy, yet adds a good balance or they might be too plain. The beige color looks a bit darker in the photo shown. Overall, most definitely worth the money. I have 5 in my family room. On one window I will tie two back because they're on a slider that is used often, and plan to get some light beige rope to compliment the rustic look these have.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by TXTea Buckwheat Flour Panels! Love them!
I purchased these curtains after updating the paint color in my living room. I was having a tough time with finding a good color of beige curtain panels...some were too peach, others too yellow or gold. These were the perfect color. The panels are natural looking and airy and defuse the sunlight without giving you a feeling of being in a cave. The pattern in the panels go well in my traditional décor yet, updates it without going too contemporary. These would go with just about any design. Love the natural look of the material. Well made, well designed!
