My wife attempted to assemble the first one and finally asked me to help her. I'm a pretty good handyman and thought this should be easy. Then, I realized that the holes pre-punched at the factory do not line up with the bolts. I finally got it together and did the second one myself just to see. Same thing again. I used a nail punch to make the holes larger and fixed the problem quickly, but, it still took over an hour for it. Although, they are attractive, these chairs are overpriced for the quality and should sell for around $79 each. RECOMMENDATION: BUY PREASSEMBLED OR SHOP FOR BETTER QUALITY.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Steve2010 Hampton Bay vs. Martha Stewart
I purchased an entire 6 piece Hampton Bay patio set 3 years ago from Home Depot and was worth every penny spent. Recently, I was hunting down a Chaise Lounge that matches, but I figured good luck because this is now 3 years later. To my surprise, Martha Stewart Living now sells the exact match to my Hampton Bay patio set. I was skeptical at first because I wasn't sure if it would match or not. I went ahead with the purchase and it's an EXACT MATCH, color in all. Very easy to assemble, and packaged very well.
I'm very satisfied and if my patio was larger, I would purchase another one.

I disclaim with this post that I am sure HD will address my frustration. All 4 chairs I ordered came in with scratches on the arms, some minor and some major, this is even with wrapping over them. They were boxed, so this must of happened before leaving the factory. The peices are extremely cheap for almost $200 pc, very flimsy and at best fit together average. They give you a horrible wrench and may I recommend if you do buy these to get a real set of ratchets or wrenches prior to install which takes about 15 minutes per chair minimum and preferably 2 people.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Steverino Yes, screws are too short
I also found that the 53 mm bolts required to attach the back piece were too short. But a workaround, if you don't want to return the piece, is to leave off the washer next to each bolt. Then, if you bolt one side onto the frame, tightening the bolt just enough so that it catches, and push the other side of the back toward the other side of the frame, you can just get it to reach so you can bolt the other side in. Then, after you tighten each bolt, the chair works fine. I agree this is a defect, but the workaround, though annoying, works.

I read a few reviews on this that concerned me, but i went ahead and bought the chaise because it matched my furniture. Boy, i am glad i did!!! This item is perfect and easy, easy to assemble!!! Obviously the manufacturer has made a change becuase there was a packet in my box with instructions and new screws. Now that is service! I am a housewife and put this together myself in less than 10 minutes, if that. It is sturdy and perfectly sized, even for my big husband. Great product, great service, and I am so glad i bought it!!!

I purchased the Cardona Chaise Lounger from Home Depot and it is a great product. The chair is well made with quality materials. It took me about 15 minutes to assemble this product with the tools provided. The metal finish is smooth and machined well for a good fit. This lounger is very comfortable and is a great addition to my patio.
Overall this product was very easy to assemble, and packaged very well.
I'm happy with this purchase and I am going to purchase another one for my wife.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Redsos Excellent Chaise Lounge
I was lucky to get 2 Chaise Lounges at the end of the summer season on clearance and already put together. How luck was that? I have owned them for about 1 1/2 years and they are out in the elements year round in California. They still look like new. What I really like is they look like substancial iron work but they are light weight enough for this 65 yr old lady to carry around the yard. And to top it off they are very comfortable to lounge around in. This is a win win product.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Stretto The sling design is great and it's comfortable.
The lower section can be removed with the push buttons - I assume mostly for ease of storage. The angle adjustment is easy, but you may need to get up to be sure it is locked into place. Can't say anything about the durability since we have only had it for a few weeks, but we are expecting that the all aluminum construction will hold up well - it is very sturdy. The sling design is great since we don't need to haul out the cushions every time. The arms are shipped loose and need to be attached - We had some difficulty lining up the holes, I think the side bracket should be redesigned so the bolt heads are not above the sling rail. One other thing, the chair will lay completely flat, but there is a metal to metal contact point that will wear the paint off, so I stuck a furniture pad on the frame to avoid this.
