Customer Reviews

Rated 3.8 out of 5 by 42 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Glider Although it was a little tedious, it was relatively easy to put together. Everything lined up once we did it correctly and it looks great on our patio. I had been looking for a one seat glider chair which I was unable to find and this fit the bill because of it's smaller size. Yes, the weight constriction is a concern and it could cause an uncomfortable moment when 2 guests try to sit on it and I have to tell them they weigh too much (haha) but other than that, I am extremely happy with this purchase. The nice thing was the free shipping so we didn't have to worry about it fitting in our car. Thanks Home Depot for that. May 15, 2010
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Nice, but... I had to look up reviews on this glider AFTER buying just to see if I wasn't the only one experiencing the same problem with the bent frame piece. Assembly was frustrating and had to get another to help me squeeze the frame and manipulate it to get the screws to line up. It's a cool bench, but, get help...and have a ratchet wrench handy. Dont depend on the awkward wrenches included. Tedious.I even had to use needle nose pliers to get one particular screw tightened connecting the back of the seat frame. Hardly any room to turn. Overall-nice item. I just never want to assemble one of these again. May 12, 2010
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Sliding Glider Before I purchased this glider I read the reviews. All were pretty good rating a 4 or 5 siting how easy it was to put together and how comfortable, etc. These must have been written right after the purchase. I have had mine for about 9 months and have become increasingly more and more disappointed. Yes, it was fairly easy to put together and it is comfortable, but it is Very light weight and continues to keep falling apart. I do not feel it is worth 200.00. It slides all around our pool deck, if not into the pool, with the slightest breeze and the screws are always coming out. Good Luck! January 17, 2011
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by This product is "just okay" but not great. Poor craftsmanship makes me not trust this glider. I started putting this thing together, only hand tightening the nuts, but as each nut was hand tightened, the other side of the seat was about 1/2" off from the base. You can't stretch metal, so my only solution to putting this thing together was to buy a couple of longer bolts and even then, this chair is sitting in the rocker base held only by a couple of screw threads! How could they be so far off on their measurements? I can't recommend this product and if I were not so busy this summer, I would have returned it. September 7, 2011
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Most comfortable seat on the patio I bought the store floor sample (only one in stock), so it came assembled. Therefore I can't make any statements about ease of assembly. I bought it cause of it's aluminum frame. I live in S. Florida, steel things rust. I am really amazed at how comfortable it is to sit on, even though it has no cushions. It has very good backrest design that seems to fit my back pertectly. Because it has no cushions, it dries more rapidly than some other seats that I own, that seem to be wet days after a rain shower. My only complaint is that they cut the price $50 since I bought mine!!! June 9, 2010
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Light weight and duty I was impressed with the ease of assembly of this glider. Only 1 set of holes didn't line up and that was understandable as it joined two subassemblies. I did it alone in less than 2 hours, even with the 2 baby wrenches supplied. I suggest a 10mm socket & wrench. My only disappointment was that stated by another reviewer - 320 pound capacity. I was surprized that Martha would associate herself with anything this weak. This insures that 2 men won't be using it together and my neighbor will have to be alone on it. Delivery was within 4 days. April 17, 2010
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by CARDONA DOUBLE GLIDER I gave this piece a 5-star rating because you are getting a nice looking glider at a minimal cost. It is comfortable and has ample room for two adults. I have always wanted a glider to enjoy sitting out back with my grandchildren but was deterred by the high cost until I found this one. It blended nicely with my other patio pieces. It is lightweight, which is helpful in moving it but the sling fabric was lighter weight compared to my other sling fabric chairs. My husband tells me the assembly took a couple hours but was relatively easy. March 26, 2010
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Cardona Double Glider We saw this in the store, but ordered online for $30 less plus free shipping. It arrived 3 days later. I assembled in less than one hour even with the grandchildren's help. For the price, the quality seems good. We bought it for outdoors and it has suffered through several Ohio rainstorms without being covered. I was expecting to see rust forming, or movement to be restricted, but have had no problems. Spraying silcone grease on the gliders moving parts sure made it swing nice and easy on these hot summer days. It is comfortable to sit in for long periods of time. My wife loves it, but I would have liked the back height to be higher for head rest..I'm tall. She also controls how fast we swing. I give it a 5 for ease of assembly, comfort, quality for the price June 26, 2010
