After days, weeks of working with these, they are hanging very nicely. Research guided me into acceptance of steaming them to rid the package fold lines. Twice over (a slow process) and it worked. They still didn't lay to my liking so I was diligent in taking the time every day that I opened them, to secured them in vertical creases, loosely tying, clipping them to create the effect I hoped for. The folds started to hold true, they laid quiet and now, they have a smooth, relaxed look resembling a drape like appearance. Persistence has paid off. The thermal quality makes a warming difference.

I hung these curtains in my living room and just LOVE how they look. I used my existing 2in rods and was thrilled that they fit nicely without struggling to get them on the rod. I did not steam them at all and the slight creases from the packaging fell out in less than a day. No light shines through the panels and drafts from the windows are greatly diminished.

Purchased these to block light in Kitchen windows. They work great. Can't wait to see how they help with the winter cold and wind. The only problem I have with them is that I can't get the wrinkles out. I've put them in the dryer with a damp cloth and lightly steam ironed them, but still there are wrinkles.
I am please with these curtains and plan to purchase more for other rooms in the house.

These are decent curtains and I haven't had any problems with them, but you can find equally good curtains for a much better price (these were $32.87 at the time of writing the review). I would look else where.

I have to be honest I didn't buy into any of the reviews that said these smell funny - but alas -- oh they smell alright and it's a weird smell at that. It's been about 3 weeks and many, many short doses of febreeze and my living room finally does not smell weird upon entering it - or I've just gotten use to it. They look very nice and they do the job and my A/C finally now does not run non-stop. So if you can wait out the "stink stage" of these curtains - they look nice and work well.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by tjweidner A quick solution
We moved into a new, pre-owned, home; the windows aren't as energy efficient as we're accustomed to. These curtains were a good, quick solution for the radiant heat loss at the windows. They contain the cold drafts. We pull them back when the sun is out to pick up solar gain. The curtains, do a good job of room darkening also; allow enough light in for a "glow".

Bright enough so the room's not too dark. Yet keeps the heat out and the cold. Great curtains!
