Craft Space 1-Drawer Standard File Cabinet in Picket Fence is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 87.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Had To Redrill Holes for Drawer Hardware (?????) I was very pleased with the Martha Stewart Craft Table and anticipated similar quality. For the Craft Space Standard White File it took me about 4 hours to finish assembly. The cam bolts didn't lock, the drawer hardware had holes drilled that when installed according to directions, left the drawer open about 4 inches. The thing that initially turned my opinion was the flimsy wood used for the drawer. It looked like used crate wood full of knots and holes filled-in with wood putty. The 3-per-side tiny 3mm screws that hold together the drawer and hardware look like they will pull out once I can actually start putting files in the file drawer. The next day I figured out that the reason the piece was wobbly and didn't totally fit together was that the cam-bolts and cam-nuts didn't align I had to take it apart and start over. Each cam-bold had to be screwed in individually to a specific height for the cam-lock to engage even though the cam-bolt was loose in its threads. Once rebuilt, the pieces still didn't fit together with gaps between panels. Also the file drawer only uses about 2/3 of the cabinet with a lot of empty space in back. So that is my story and I don't recommend this piece to anyone, especially if you don't have the ability to crawl up inside the piece to figure out where the hardware screw holes should be drilled. Maybe some flexibility training would help the next person have an easier time assembling this overpriced low quality piece. Martha, this is not a good thing.

However, this cabinet came with a couple of gouges out of it and a crack on the one leg. It also had a large scratch on the top. For the price I expected better quality. Obviously you don't find this stuff out until you are in the middle of assembling the cabinet and by then it is too late to return!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Another Great Piece I bought this to add to my sewing room's furniture. I thought that I could use it beside my sewing table since the height and depth are the same. We left the bottom shelf off thinking that I could put my coverstitch machine on it for sewing. It didn't work for that because I couldn't get my legs under it. I will still use it to store patterns The collection is high quality, heavy furniture.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Knob Ripped off First Pull Horrible quality furniture line despite the cute appearance. Takes hours to assemble each piece and the material where the knob attaches for the drawer pull was no lie about 1/16" think and ripped out on the first pull to open he file drawer. Have no idea how to fix this!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from MS File Cabinet First of all, Where are the factory inspectors? We are told to inspect the box when it arrives. The box was fine. With that in mind we didn't think we needed to open the box to inspect the pieces. If we would have inspected the merchandise we wouldn't have found the damaged piece until we put the file cabinet together toward the end not knowing what HOLES would show. There was a HOLE drilled clear through the front piece on the facing above the drawer. Should be a smooth piece. The drawer doesn't close smoothly as it should. I really have to push it to close. Not the drawer slides' fault. I have purchased several pieces of the MS craft storage & have loved them, NOT this piece. VERY disappointed!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from solid piece I have several pieces of Martha Stewart craft furniture for my office/hobby room in Sequoia (brown wood) finish. Directions and parts, A+++. They also get extra points for including spare Cam-Lock fasteners since they tend to bend/deform as they are tightened. The drawers are well designed with actual wood bottoms. My one complaint is that the drawers stick based on the drawer slide element. Must use force to close at the very end of the push. Same when opening, requires a firm tug. The wood is not binding on the wood opening. Seems to be internal to the drawer glides which actually seem nice and sturdy. I am satisfied with the heaviness and sturdiness of the wood pieces. I have ordered custom glass toppers for this one drawer file cabinet and for the craft desk to avoid wear marks/scratches. The top of the one drawer file cabinet had a stripe across the top which was an imperfection in the staining process, however, it does not bother me since the printer will be resting there permanently. I have other pieces still in boxes waiting to be put together. I will space this out since each piece takes a while to assemble. Instructions are VERY clear which makes it easy to identify if you have all the parts before you start. Important to follow steps in the order they say. I used wood glue on the couple small wood dowels before inserting for extra strength. Pieces came well packed, nothing was broken although you have to clean each pieces with dust rag since they were covered with small fibers and styrofoam particles that cling to surfaces.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from sturdy furniture This is a very sturdy piece of furniture. It was moderately difficult to assemble just due to the weight of each piece. I think it will last for along time, because of the sturdiness of it. Only major complaint is that the manufacturing process left a very strong order to the wood. Took over 10 days to air out. Had to leave outside on porch was that strong.
