Cumberland Smoked 5-Piece Dining Patio Set-DISCONTINUED is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 13.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent quality I researched patio dining sets backwards and forwards and ended up buying this one. Home Depot is the better source, compared to their subsidiary, Home Decorators Collection, which sells the same set but charges a high $98 shipping fee. The slats on the tabletop are finely sanded, and there were no rough edges on them anywhere. The assembly procedure was very easy, too. This is a heavy-weight set, which is what I was looking for, after having plastic resin sets and glass-and-metal sets blow over or end up at the bottom of the pool. (The glass-topped table ended up being destroyed, needless to say.) I think this set will last us a long time.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very nice, but... Overall, the furniture is very well built, easy to put together, and looks fantastic on our deck. My one problem with it is for shipping purposes, a sheet of styrofoam was GLUED to the top of the table and we still have not been able to get the glue residue off of the wood. Not very smart on the part of whoever packages up this stuff. We are hoping in time that the residue will come off as we destroyed 2 Magic Erasers and a lot of cleaning product trying to get it off.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Looks Great! This set is the perfect size to coordinate with the other patio seating set we purchased at our local Home Depot store. Disappointed that the cushions are not waterproof, but we've put Scotch Guard on them to hopefully help prolong the life of the cushions. The pieces were easy to put together. I've attempted to upload a picture, but I'm not sure if that was successful.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid and sturdy The set looks and feels very solid and sturdy. The wood is fairly evenly colored -- seems right for the price (we covered it in teak oil). Reading the other reviews, I was worried about the packing material sticking to the wood, but that wasn't a problem in our set. Relatively easy to assemble. My only complaint is that the cushions are not water proof; the product description says "weather resistant" but you certainly cannot leave them outside if it rains!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It was good BUT the product is great but when I received it there was many sanding marks and it looks like they just stained it and packed it. There was a lot of styrofoam stuck to all the chairs and table. Needed to call and complain as I love the set it was frustrating getting it with so many issues.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Heavy Duty The set is tedious to put together by hand. Buy an allen wrench adapter for your drill. It will save you tons of time. The set withstood 30mph winds. It did not move an inch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to assemble. I was surprised that it came unassembled, but it was easy to put together.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice but... the packaging is the big problem. The table was stained and before it could dry, the packers placed the styrofoam on top of it and boxed it up. The result is sticky stuff all along the outer 4 inches of the table. It is not easy to remove. I have spent a day using goo-gone but there are still some gross remnants that I might have to use fine steel wool on. This is clearly a common problem and I would like to see the manufacturers remedy this. For the asking price, I expected a table in near-perfect condition.
