Its a baked on metal. Problem it peels off and starts rusting the metal underneath. Also happens to the chairs as well. Table is on an enclosed screened in porch.

Answer:
Two boxes are shipped--one is the size of the tabletop and the other is a rather large box that contains the chair parts and table bottom. I'm not sure of the exact dimensions, but it did fit through our standard fence gate.

Two boxes, one with the Table top, probably 5.5' x 4', the other with chairs to assemble, this one is larger with more volume probably 4.5' x 4'. Measurements are estimates.

Customer Reviews

Rated 3.9 out of 5 by 172 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Easy to assemble We bought the 5 pc set at our local Home Depot and ordered the 7 pc on line. It's currently on backorder but if it is anything like the 5 pc, I'm sure we'll love it. Once I assembled the first chair, the other three practically assembled themselves. I also recommend using your own M6 and M8 socket drives. Previous posts mentioned the discomfort of the crossbar under the front seat. I went back to Home Depot and bought some 3/4" foam pipe insulation, cut it to size and wrapped it around the crossbar. Problem solved. May 4, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by You buy you lose We have had this for over a year and it sits on an enclosed screen porch. Paint is peeling from the table and all the chairs. It is starting to rust and one of the swivel chairs broke. The metal bent where you Swivel and then bent the bar that holds the bolts to the chair. Cushions after you sit in them squeeze down so it feels like your sitting on steel. Good luck if you don't believe me. June 10, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good price for a decent product We compared the price in several other retailers and came accross this product on sale at Home Depot. We were able to build it in about two hours because there were several pieces to put together in our patio. I just hope it lasts couple of years... September 26, 2011
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Not Bad At All I am pleasantly surprised. Nice looking set. I am happy with this purchase at the reduced after summer price. September 27, 2011
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by This patio set brings out the beauty of my new patio I wish the table width and length was a foot bigger. July 2, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by worst purchase ever Martha Stewart patio is guaranteed to rust. It is totally subcontracted and the 1 year guarantee does not mean 367 days! My set which included additional lounges and side tables is no longer usable in less than three years. The rust began in less than six months and they sent replacements parts. After a year and a day they would do nothing. Even Home Depot which takes back almost anything would do nothing after a year even with all receipts. If you try to email Martha Stewart or Martha Stewart Living, the only response is an offer to buy her magazine. I would never purchase anything from Martha again. April 4, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by RUSTED OUT VERY QUICKLY!!!! Beautiful set and not too hard to assemble. That's all I can say in a positive direction. Our set began to rust at just over a year. I cleaned it up and touched up the paint. However the chair and table legs were rusting from the inside. Just short of two years, one of the chairs and the glider collapsed. We wrote and sent photos to Home Depot and the Manufacturer, and both said 'Sorry- it's beyond the one-year warranty'. Big surprise--- I told them in my letter that it was beyond the one-year warranty period. I wrote to them because I didn't think that nearly $900.00 worth of patio furniture should have a useful life expectancy of less than two years. THEY JUST DON'T SEEM TO CARE ! March 18, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Product OK, customer service poor So we got the delivery a few weeks ago, I go to put the chairs together, the Chinese manufacturer has shipped the incorrect seat bottoms for one of the non swifel chairs, we contact customer service, they say look out for an e-mail on how to return. One week later, no e-mail, call back, so sorry, the vendor has to contact us prior to us contacting you. Two weeks later, no e-mail, call back, oh we need more information, still waiting on that e-mail. April 20, 2015
