The rug is beautiful, the color works well with the grey/brown color I painted the living room. I don't have any real concerns with the shedding or fibers the rug is leaving. Nothing out of the ordinary for wool rugs.
I do plan on ordering a rug pad to help give it a little more cushion under the foot.
My only complaint is that when it came to our door step there was condensation build up within the 2 layers of plastic wrapping. When we unwrapped the rug the stench of plastic and dampness was overwhelming. After letting it sit for a few days in the house the smell of mildew or dampness is still present. I am hoping that this continues to dissipate with time. It is a shame such an expensive rug was shipped in such a careless manor.

I waited a few months before pulling the trigger on this rug & am so pleased! Was worried that the colors & pattern would be too obnoxious IRL but this rug is so much more neutral than shown here. The colors are actually lighter & the faux bois pattern more subtle (the background is a pale grey & the faux bois part is a grey-beige color). Giving it only 4 stars b/c it's not the softest rug but def. thick! The wool has been shedding quite a bit which doesn't bother me but vacuuming is a must. No strong plastic new rug smell thank goodness since it's 100% wool.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by MomTeacher Fabulous Rug!
Initially, I was hesitant to buy a rug online without being able to see a color sample. However, the no-hassle return option to my local Home Depot made it an easy choice. The shipping was prompt, too. I ordered rug on Monday evening and it was at my doorstep on Thursday! I was looking for a contemporary rug to put in a room full of antiques. This rug's netrual brown and cream pattern is a great update, and keeps the room from looking like "grandma's parlor." The wool is plush and soft. It is a quality rug at a value price. Overall, very pleased!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Sarah Good Price for a Quality Rug
I purchased two of these rugs. We use them in a low traffic home office. They are definitely shedding, but not so much that I am concerned. I think after some more vacuuming that'll resolve. Since it's an area we don't use much I've yet to vacuum them much. The pattern is subtle in a good way. I like the gray. It's a good gray to go with the popular greige color (not too cold, more of a warm beige-y gray). I think it was a good price for a wool rug.

I'm on my second rug with the same problem...uneven carpet fibers that pull completely out. Has anyone else had this problem? I love the look of the rug and the excessive shedding in the beginning is understandable, but I do not understand the loose carpet fibers. I tried trimming the long fibers that started appearing over time, but quickly noticed how easily they pulled out. I returned the first rug within the allowed time frame, but worry about keeping the 2nd rug much longer.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Jean7 Not disappointed with purchase
There are both pros and cons for this item. The pros are that the design is as pictured and very nice, softness is real good, and pleased with promptness of delivery. The cons are that it is somewhat pricey, there were no discount or rebates available nor sample swatches. Every so often my online purchases turn out not to be the best, but I am not disappointed with any aspect of the rug itself.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Mary love the rug, but quality is undesirable
Love the color and pattern, but quality is poor. Rug arrived with hundreds of long uncut fibers and is still shedding heavily after 3 weeks on the floor with very little traffic. Will have to return it and will try another of the same rug--hope it works out this time.
