As was stated in previous reviews, the carpet sheds. I thought my vacum cleaner was broken, it was clogged with carpet fibers. Easily fixed but, when will it stop shedding? I am not sure of the long term quality of the carpet because I do not know when it will stop shedding or how it will wear over time. I do like the way the carpet looks at this time.

This rug is absolutely gorgeous! I have been eyeing it online for quite some time and am very happy that I pulled the trigger. The picture is very accurate. The color and design are beautiful, so much so that I was bummed I had to put it under my dining table! I would highly recommend this rug to anyone. My only regret is that I didn't get a bigger size. It fits perfectly under my dining table, but it's so pretty that I would have liked to have more of the rug showing. I looked around a lot and this was the best price I found online for this product. Plus, I ordered it on sunday and received it on tuesday. VERY pleases with my purchase.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Marissa Beautiful appearance, cheaply made, sheds like crazy
I purchased this rug with high hopes as I have had good luck in the past with Martha Stewart products. When I unrolled my 4 x 6 rug, I loved the cream and taupe colors immediately, however, I knew something looked off. The design seemed different than what I purchased on the Home Depot web site. A quick look on the computer confirmed this. The picture shown must be of a larger size rug. The border on the 4 x 6 rug is smaller and less detailed than what the picture displays. The actual rug also has less "stars" in the center. Even so, I did not mind this as the design was still pretty and mostly similar. What I did mind, though, was the quality of this rug. After just two days of light walking on the rug, individual fibers started coming up. My only choice was to trim them even with the rest of the rug fibers or pull them out. Additionally, this rug shed massive amounts of wool fuzz. When I say massive, this is not an understatement. I had tumbleweeds the size of Texas under the nearby furniture. When I Swiffered the wood floor surrounding the rug, I collected so much fuzz that I could knit a sweater. The worst was letting my 9-month old play on the rug. I had to change his outfit after because he was covered in wool fiber. I tried vacuuming the rug several times but the shedding just continued. I researched hand tufted-wool rugs and was surprised to find out that this is pretty common because they are made cheaply. The articles I read said to buy hand-knotted NOT hand-tufted rugs. Big disappointment. I am returning this rug and will be more careful with my rug purchases in the future.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by cmack Not quite as pictured but beautiful
I could not tell the color of this rug online. It looks navy. But I was afraid it would be black. Honestly, it is somewhere in between. Yes, that sounds weird but I have it with red and khaki furniture and blue walls and it takes on a navy color. But I think it is truer to charcoal. And it seems more square than rectangle so unsure what the true dimensions are since I have not measured it. Nonetheless, I love it.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Courtie A great look & great quality!
First of all, kudos to HD for getting me this runner in just 2 business days when the delivery said 3-5 bus days! This runner looks and feels wonderful!
COLOR: I was afraid the color would be turquoise; however, the blue is more of a muted, slightly greyish sky blue. The border and snowflakes are a taupe. The colors coordinate perfectly with a Martha Stewart area rug I bought recently at another store that has similar colors and a chocolate brown border (pt is it would coordinate well with dark brown furniture). The pattern is much simpler than the picture indicates (ie not as busy so easy to coordinate with other patterns than I thought would be the case).
QUALITY: As for the quality, it is thick wool, clearly made well. Soft on the feet. Because of the greyish-blue it should handle the scuffs fairly well for a runner.
PRICE: It was more than i planned to spend for an 8ft runner; however, the overall quality and appearance justify spending a little extra.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by ladyexecutive This rug is wonderful...Very true to color shown....Thick and very well made. I own several very expensive area rugs and this one compares very well. You will love this rug if you order it. And to make it even better...The rug arrived 3 days after i ordered....Martha Stewart products are usually very good...This rug is a nice example of quality at a great price.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by DecoratingDiva Pretty Carpet But Not Sure How Long It Will Last
I bought three of these carpets in different shapes and sizes. It is very pretty but it is already starting to show wear and there are tiny little white fibers that are constantly coming off the carpets so I am worried about how long it is going to last.

this rug works well for our baby's room. My only concern is that wool fibers do shed a bit onto her clothing, but this seems to happen less now compared to first few weeks, and I'm told this is normal for wool rugs.
