CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4 out of 5 by 47 reviewers.
Rated 1 out of 5 by Beautiful - until you wash I love the color. I love the texture. They match my room perfectly. All in all they're perfect. Or, at least they were until I washed them. Whoever is making these curtains, is using the wrong type of thread, or possibly it's just cheap thread. I originally purchased four panels. When I put them up, I realized there were not quite enough of them. It took me a few months to get the other panels. When I did, I pulled the ones I'd purchased previously down, and I washed all the curtains, including the new ones, and then dried them on fluff, just to be sure that there wasn't too much heat. I had washed them on cold water (and in the winter, so the water was cold cold). My roommate, who irons ALL THE TIME (crazy, I know!), ironed these on low and then put them back up. I saw them, and the seams are puckered. The thread clearly shrunk. One of the tabs just simply came apart, so they don't even hang properly now. I thought, well, maybe she didn't iron them properly. So I took them all down, and I washed them on cold, and then dried them on fluff. I brought the ironing board up, I set the iron to poly. I spent an hour ironing one panel. I had her pull one end, while I pulled the other and ironed the seams, in order to attempt to stretch them back out. At the conclusion of one panel, I hung it, and it's still just completely puckered. There's no point in ironing the other panels. I called Martha Stewart company about this, and they told me I had to contact the store, or at least the corporation that makes them. I said, aren't you all the company that makes them? The young lady said, no, it's Martha Stewart Living. She said well, you clearly got a defective curtain. I said, it's all seven panels, not just one. In any case, I can't find a contact for them. It's all rather ridiculous. And honestly, while they're not the most expensive curtain on the market, Martha Stewart is supposed to be a quality buy. Additionally, it wasn't like they were cheap. I've had cheaper curtains and drapes that didn't fall apart or have issues for years. I'm really pretty upset by this. I really love these curtains, and now they're not only a huge waste of money, but I've spent a lot of time trying to repair what was clearly poor quality workmanship. They're beautiful. If you buy them, try dry cleaning. Maybe that will work better. I don't think line dry will do it either, since fluff is a no- heat setting. :( February 26, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Beautiful color Saw these in the store and the light blue/aqua color is exactly what I've been looking for. They are quality curtains for a great price! Home depot please bring the 95" back in stock. February 7, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Did not disappoint Love the color, lightness, and slight sheen - matches my carpet perfectly and adds a cool, airy, feminine feel to my temporary office. Price and value met my needs. Heeding the complaints of previous reviewers, I'm going to avoid washing these curtains for as long as possible, and when I do I'll expect the flaws of their make to reveal themselves. Rated 2 out of 5 by A great product but you sent me the wrong size on one panel 3 of the 4 panels were fine but one was wrong(even though the outside of the pkg said 95" it was only 85") Better quality control is needed October 30, 2012
