I thought the price on this fixture was on the high side compared to similar fixtures at HD, but I bought it anyway because it matched best with my bathroom.
The chrome is very glossy and the shades are completely opaque glossy bright white. It has a 1940's art deco feel to it. It looks great with my bath faucet which is also somewhat similar in design.
I have it hung over a small 18" wide vanity and this 2-light model is the perfect scale for it.
The base is a 4" circle. I had to install this on a surface-mounted round wiremold box and it is exactly the same size as that box, so it looks like the white box is just part of the fixture.
I'm very pleased with this fixture. I just wish is was a better price.

This light kit was very easy to install. It has a high quality finish and really looks great when installed. Would definitely buy again.

Do to my many skills, the light set was easy to install. They provide amble light over my bathroom sink and look very nice.

I have had this light installed in a bathroom for about 1 year now and it is pitting. It looks great at install - but the base of both units are pitted - and the bathroom is fully ventilated. Poor quality.

Martha Steward products are always good quality for the money...wires could be a little longer but fairly easy to install

This is a nice looking 2-light fixture and it was the only one that we could find that was deep enough to clear a surface mounted medicine cabinet. Even then part of the glass shade is over the cabinet but the bulbs clear it.
The metal bulb housing on the right side is bent towards the wall and it was only noticeable after we mounted the fixture. I expect imperfections like this from a home center brand but not from a fancy brand like Martha Stewart. This wasn't a cheap fixture either compared to the other brands. Also there were only 2 wire caps included so we had to get a 3rd for the ground wire. And, the heads of the screws were a bit too narrow to completely grab the metal mounting bracket ring so I added a washer to ensure that the screw grabbed the ring and didn't go through it.
After mounting it we decided to keep it to avoid the hassle of returning it and replacing it. Just be aware that these are imported from the usual place and you have to expect the quality issues.
For those of you working with surface mounting medicine cabinets, we can pass on a tip: we bought a pine wood plaque from a local craft store for about $6 and used it to shim the fixture so that more of it would project over the cabinet. You'll have to drill some holes and be patient but the end result looks great and you'll get more light over your sink where you need it.

I had purchased a 3 light fixture like this for our larger bathroom. We were very satisfied with it and I was very pleased to see it available in the 2 light style for our smaller bathroom. They both light the rooms very well and are beautiful to look at. I have redecorated the 2 rooms and couldn't continue with those old strip lights we had installed when the home was built in 1980!
