Hi, is the fabric replaceable?

Asked by: patio
I dont think so, but it is the poly woven material. I have the same material on a table and chair set that have been in the sun for more than 10 years with no visible wear...

Customer Reviews

Solana Bay Patio Chaise Lounge is rated 3.1 out of 5 by 107.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointing materials and parts fitting correctly I love the overall appearance, but not how it did not fit together correctly. The holes to put the bolts though were not measured correctly, so that I end up with one support leg an inch short of touching the surface the chair is on. This will affect stability in the use of the chaise over a period of time and will warp the chaise. After putting it all together--how do I return it??? I also noticed some flaws in the fabric part of the chaise. The weave was marred by incomplete fibers running through it. Those spots will not hold up to being exposed to the sun and rain, as well as material with out flaws. Extremely disappointed with the quality of this product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from AWFUL LEGS DO NOT BUY THESE CHAIRS! Bought these 2 summers ago, splurging a little on a couple nice lounge chairs for the pool. By the end of the first summer the legs that attach to the front were starting to rust through by the end of last summer they were almost completely rusted through. They were outside for the summer only and then we stored them in the garage. We finally had to tape them for any stability. Buy the solid piece $70 chairs. Those also were out for the same amount of time and at least are still standing on their own and are in good shape.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bent frame poorly constructed We bought 2 chairs for pario, 1 chair assembled and looked great, but the other was missing parts. We returned it and the replacement chair had a bent frame, We attempted yet again to match the 1 chair that worked. After 4 returns we gave up and sent both back. The frame, where the center chair legs attach, isn't made properly so the screws don't line up.

For the discounted price they are okay but middle legs were off the floor after assembly on both lounges and I had to work them to get the legs to touch the floor; one lounge came in damaged without the hardware and I will be taking that back. However, I have two lounges that I purchased a couple of years ago and they are still fine with no problems.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good looking, sturdy, inexpensive, w/o cushions to schlep indoors! As others have noted, the welds on the frame are imprecise, and that results in the nuts imbedded in the frame not lining up precisely with the holes in the arm supports. After struggling an hour or so to assemble the first one, I finally figured out the problem with attaching the arms to the body frame: there is a required order of bolt insertion: you must start with the bolt that's on the farthest rear edge of the frame. Snug it, then insert the other three bolts on either side. The second one took 20 minutes. P.S. the sticker says weight maximum: 250 lbs. I believe it. When my 300+ friend sat on it, the fabric strained. Gonna have to get him his own chair. Ugh.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from 1 for 4 - Returned to Store First and foremost, huge HD fan and shop often, just not happy with this purchase. Not bitter, just would not recommend these chairs. Ordered four of these and shipping was quick and easy. Boxes arrived via UPS and started assembly. All the components were in each of the boxes but the packing was awful. Flimsy cardboard and 1/8" underlayment pieces were used in the corners. 3 out of the 4 chairs were damaged -- bad welds and bent corners where the arms screw into the base. No way to bend into the proper place because the welds would rip or break. On 2 of the chairs, the plastic (yes plastic) piece where the arm for the lounge position rests was broken off. Originally purchased because of all the great reviews for these and the Solana Bay set online so I have to step forward and disagree with those. Very disappointed with this set and returned the entire thing back to the store (4 chaise lounges, 7-piece set, umbrella, umbrella stand and side tables). Would not recommend this set to anyone. Still a Home Depot shopper, just not for this set.
