Just what I wanted. They let enough light in when closed, and the loops are large so they slide easily on the curtain rod. And they are machine washable: a big plus.

For years I have purchased tab curtains from J.C. Penneys for our beach condo.
It appears that no stores carry these anymore.
I was so excited to see that Home Depot carries Martha Stewart's tab curtains.
They appear to be good quality.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Shouldaknown Fall Apart during 1st Washing
The very first time I washed these all the tab seems came apart leaving me with strings of threads and rips. Also, there is no way to press them at ALL and believe me I tried several methods to get the pleats back in them. So don't wash them and don't try to press them or keep pleats. In essence you could just hang sheets on your windows

Horrible waste of time and money... these are NOT 84" long... and they're not made that great either... not sure why Martha has her name on these? On the flipside...picking them up at the store was great, and the associate was fantastic, quick, and friendly!

Just as described. They are holding up well to rain and sun. I did need to weight the bottom to handle wind.

The living room walls are a Moroccan Red so I needed a curtain color that was calming and "quiet" and this Martha Stewart Spud color one was perfect. The color is like the light brown of a potato skin. It's 100% cotton and is nothing fancy and doesn't compete for attention. I pressed it to get rid of the package fold lines and it has hung up well. It has not been washed, so I don't know if it will shrink. For now, It's a great, simple curtain that does the job of keeping sunlight from getting into the room and prying eyes from peering in.

The Martha Stewart Living 100% cotton curtains was labeled as "Spud" color because it is a light brown or tan color. It was not the shade of brown as in my computer monitor which appeared to have a hint of caramel color. It measured 1/2' less wide than labeled per panel (49 1/2" not 50"). I believed it was also about 1/2" shorter, too. It has not been washed, so I don't know if it will shrink. (The washing instruction said to wash in cold water.) The fabric is thick enough to filter out the light, but also allowing the light to come through the curtain. I would have liked the color to be more of my expectation, but the natural tan will complement the the Moroccan Red (a rich darker fire engine red) living room walls.
