Do you sell smaller jam sizes?

I have a 3 1/2 inch wall with the drywall. I need a 24 x 80 prehung 6 panel hollow core door.
Asked by: Edward
Apparently he has a normal house with 2 x 3 studs, that shouldn't be too hard to figure out.. they sell interior doors that fit on special order..

When will this be back in stock? It's out of stock online as of 07/24/16

When will this door be back in stock at the Western Hills store, Glenway Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45211? Does that mean if it's out of stock online that they may carry it in the store itself?

bathroom locks for doors

We have two doors just like the above pictured one (six panel) going into out bathroom. There are door knobs on the doors of course but have never had any type of lock on them. I have searched for some type of lock, saw one in a hotel once, kinda of a lever lock. It had a hook type thing that went from one door over to the other. I have tried to find a lock like this but cannot. Would you be able to help me. Thank you
Asked by: Geno
Its called an "hook & eye" lock. you simply screw the eye part into the jamb and the hook into the door so that when they close the are lined up.

Just a total nightmare - these are split jambs with the trim STAPLED to both sides. For starters you have to destroy the out of square trim getting it off in order to hang they use 1 1/2 staples on really brittle trim. All off the split jambs where nailed tight in an assortment of ways - further destruction of the unit. by the time you figure prepping the door and the ride to buy more trim and cutting it. Also I am noticing the keeper and doorknob doesn't look like it lines up - get out the chisel . I am going to have to spend a lot of time patching and calking things up. These doors will make u throw down your tools and quit for the day - Trust Me

Flimsy framing and prone to warping if not installed immediately. The price is attractive, but you get what you pay for. I bought 4 doors for a basement project and have not gotten one single door properly installed. The split jamb model is flimsy and breaks easily. Do not purchase unless you want to waste your time and money.

Since these are made in a jig how can they even leave the factory so ill assembled - trim not attached completely or attached crooked. Wood so poor quality that the hinge screws are impossible to tighten. A TOTAL waste of money - don't walk away, RUN from these. Would be a -5 star if possible.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good door, but be prepared to re-work to get to work properly. The door is good, the jamb is OK, but the fit and finish is questionable. It appears the factory just nails up a jamb around a raw door slab. The door slab required planing down over 1/8" on the strike side to open and close once the jamb was hung. The strike side of the door is square rather than tapered. This adjustment left the pre-drilled lock set hole offset too close to the edge leaving a portion of the hole visible under the trim. The hinges required a bit of chisel work to sit flush to the jamb and door slab. If you have never hung a door before, and you plan to purchase one of these doors, a plane is ESSENTIAL or it won't work.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Pre-hung Door The door looks nice, however the quality of material is very poor. I removed the hinges to paint the door, the screws stripped the holes when I put the hinges back on, with very little torque.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible craftsmanship We just had a contractor put these pre-hung doors throughout the house, a mix of solid and hollow core. Doors look okay from a distance, where you really see the shoddy craftsmanship is in the area's that were routed for the door striker and hinges. Every door had something wrong with it, many of the doors the hinge pockets were cut uneven and not deep enough for the hinge. The pocket where the door striker goes was cut too deep on every door, by as much as 1/4" and many pockets were too big for the striker hardware leaving a totally unfinished look. Home Depot would not replace the doors. I am totally discussed with these doors and will never buy a Masonite product again! I would have spent more money on another brand if I had known this.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Quality Door I purchased this door for installation in my home. I had experience installing pre-hung doors from another supplier, and had no problems before. The frame on the HD door was so thin that I could not drive a finish nail into it, and the wood was so thin that it would barely hold the hinge screws. I cut 7/8 inch off the bottom, which resulted in a hollow void at the bottom which I had to repair. It isn't unusual to have to cut some off the bottom of the door, so I was surprised that there was no allowance for cutting it off at least an inch. The door is basically cardboard, and the edges are very rough due to the fact that the edges are composite and not solid wood. If you have any pride in your home, do not buy this door.
