Does the threshold have composite or wood under the door sill?

It doesn't specify, but the sill is aluminum and the bottom door rail is rot-resistant.

Customer Reviews

30 in. x 80 in. Flush Primed Steel Prehung Front Door with No Brickmold in Vinyl Frame is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good door, marginal frame. The door is as described but the door jamb/frame is of some sort of weak (low bending modulus) plastic. It is so soft that a great deal of time has to be spent with shims to keep it straight during installation so that takes about twice as long as normal. It is also had to work with if you have to change the strike plate recess; it doesn't work well, chips, and it is hard to get a uniform cut. All this not to mention that the hinges were mounted so that there was zero clearance with the top of the frame. That was solved by pulling the top of the frame up with screws and playing with the shims again to get it straight. The material was so weak that pulling it up was not really a problem. The positive side of the frame material is that it looks great, as does the door itself.
