I am looking to adjoin two apartments with separate tenancies. I want to have each side be lockable similar to what you find in a hotel. The building code requires the opening to have a 2 hour fire rating. So I think each door would need to be rated 1 hour as they will be installed back to back. I need a modern style white slab door like this. Is it fire-rated or what can you recommend?
