I love my new door as I wanted ventilation in my bathroom.
It is a snug fit and hots out the heat which is good as it faces the morning to afternoon sun.
I would recommend this door.

This exterior garage door came with a window which was installed about 1/4 inch from square. It wasn't immediately noticeable, but it is visible when you stand ten to fifteen feet away---something just doesn't look quite right. Then you take out your tape and you understand why. But by that time my contractor had already finished the installation. What could I do?

Added great light to a small space. Good option to open for air flow.

I am so happy to finally have the garage door of my dreams! This door is pretty, matches the look I'm trying to achieve throughout my house. The price was less than half of what I thought I'd have to pay.
Every time I go into my garage I can't get over the light coming into my garage! Having that functional window helps keep the air flow fresh in the garage without letting the dog out of the back yard or any flies into the garage. Also we feel more secure with a steel door to garage the entry from the garden into the garage and the house it's connected to.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by alangski great door, poor window design
Installed this door last week. Easy and straightforward. The only problem I have is with the window design. To me, it's upside down for safety/security. If the window is opened, even partially, for ventilation through the screen, it allows access through the door simply by pushing in or cutting the screen and reaching in and unlocking the door as the bottom area of the screened portion is directly adjacent to the door handle/deadbolt. If the screened portion was on the top half, it would deter unwanted/illegal entry. PLEASE modify this issue!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by GoodDog I had good luck with this door
I see that other people have had problems with this door. Bought my first about 4 years ago and installed then. It was the perfect solution for what I needed, or I wouldn't have bought it.
Appearance - just like it appeared to be. If you think the appearance isn't excellent, choose another door.
Ease of installation - it can't be any easier than this door, unless you have never installed a door before.
Value - if it isn't an excellent value, don't buy it.
Quality - apparently there is a difference between what the factory is putting out today compared to 4 years ago. Perhaps I got lucky? Have three of these types of doors installed, one of them 4 years ago, the other two 3 years ago. They are all perfect to this day.
One thing I did that others may not have - removed the door and laid it out in a shop and painted it, then put polyurethane over the entire door slab. Live on the ocean, and that protects the door and paint. Also, if you live in a high humidity area it is worth sealing the top and bottom of the door so the core doesn't swell.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by UNHAPPY HAVE TO REPLACE IT OR REBUILD IT
AFTER INSTALLING I DISCOVERED THAT THE DOOR WOULD NOT CLOSE AFTER COMPLETTING THE LAST STEP OF SCREWING THE TOP THRESHOLD PLATE. DOOR BOUND UP ON THE PLATE DUE TO THE FACT THAT THE HINGES WERE INSTALLED 5/8THS OF AN INCH TO LOW. THE HINGE MOUNTING SCREWS WERE ALSO INSTALLED AT AN ANGLE. AND THE HEAD STUCK OUT OF THE HINGE. I WILL BE TAKING IT OUT TOMORROW AND RETURNING IT FOR A REFUND AND WILL SHOP AT A STORE THAT CARRY'S TOP QUALITY ONLY. LIKE A PRIVATELY OWNED DOOR SHOP, NOT A DEPOT OUTLET.

Compliments the new windows and allows more light than the old door did, and much more secure too.
