I keep seeing a reference to "Brickmould" or "without Brickmould" on many door descriptions. I've not been able to find a definition of what "Brickmould" is. Does it have to do with the type of weatherstripping?
Asked by: wattsnu
Hello Wattsnu, Brick molding is a strip of material used to close the small gap between a brick wall and the frame of a door.

So if i am just replacing my front door cant i just use the same door frame and hinges

Asked by: Liz
Hello Liz, Yes you can use your existing frame and buy a slab only. You just need to measure your existing hinge locations and give those measurements to a Home Depot associate when ordering so that your door can be mortised correctly. You should measure from the top down to the tops of the hinge locations.
