Customer Questions & Answers

Can I use this cap on a 6inch duct?

Asked by: Penny
The 7 in roof jack has an 8 in throat opening. Trimming the outside insulation back would allow the 6 in core to fit inside the roof jack but there is not a collar on the roof jack for attachment. There would have to be another means for attachment. For additional information, please call our Technical Services Group at 800-211-9612, M-F 8A-5P ET.

1:3 Roof Slope

Is the flat base set at an angle to the 7" vent and cap? I have a 1:3 roof slope and would prefer the vent to be vertical. Will this cap work for my installation.
