I'm considering getting one of these locks for my shed.
I live in NE Florida...
Hot, humid, wet... all describe typical summer/fall/spring days...
I'm curious, has anyone had one of these locks for over a year? and if so, how did it hold up, or not?
The reviews cause me to think it is sort of hit or miss, and while it isn't a bunch of money, I'd just like to get something that works...

Thank you.

The Master Lock No. 315 features a yellow weather resistant thermoplastic cover that protects against moisture, dirt, and grime. We recommend applying a liberal coat of PTFE based lubricant to help prevent water from condensing inside the lock. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by The product is not good, I did not like. Buy the product outside, so i select with the plastic cover. However, mold took a week and second week no longer effectively closed or opened. January 14, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not Weatherproof - Watch out!! I purchased this lock for my outside storage shed. After the first rain storm, I could tell it was getting a little harder to close after opening. Now, after just 2 months and opening the lock under a dozen times, I cannot get it to lock again. Metal at the bottom of the hooks are rusted. Bad product!! Maybe good for indoors, but not outdoors!! Would not recommend this product to anyone! December 23, 2009

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Outside Lock Love the fact that the lock has a weather proof coating on it to protect it from the elements. I only buy Master locks because of their strength, reputation and warranty and this lock lives up to the Master family values. A great lock to use on outside building. September 25, 2012
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Seized up after a month Bought a 2 pack of these locks for my truck tool box. Bought these locks SPECIFICALLY because they are "weather resistant." After just 1 month, the locks were completely inoperable and I had to cut them off with bolt cutters. Peeled the casing off and found that the locks had rusted. December 9, 2011
