Yes. Might consider some WD-40 added to the lock from time to time if it is used entirely outdoors.

Unfortunately, the set your own combination locks use a code unique to the user. We do not have an override combination for our padlocks.

That's the only big problem with this lock: you can't forget the combination you set because that is the only way to re-set it. I can't think of any way other than contacting the manufacturer to see if there is another way, but I think that is the only one.

Answer:
Don't know if you can reset it without having the code. You have to have the code and a small key I believe. The key goes in and you turn it and then you can reset the code. You have to have the lock open to make this work.
Check on the manufacturers website and see if they have a help file.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good design for a lock Nice lock. I like the enter your own combo feature. Simple yet dependable. March 8, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great for outdoor use I have seen these locks used for years in Western Pa weather. The locks have never had an issue working. This was the second lock I have on our sportsmen club property. The lock is opened hundreds of times a week and has not had an issue. July 12, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good lock, very solid and weather resistant I purchased this lock to lock up an expensive folding shopping cart we store in our front yard. I upgraded from the little silver master luggage lock we were using, because those little luggage locks are not weather resistant. I use this lock with an old piece of chain to lock the shopping cart to an iron gate. We live in the city so we have had problems with the bottle collectors coming into our yard late at night and trying to steal the folding shopping cart, They haven't been able to get it now! This lock is very reliable and weather resistant. It is great that it is a combination lock so we don't have to worry about losing keys. This lock gives much value at a low price. It is also very rugged looking and intimidating to thieves. This lock has solved a big security problem. It is almost too good for this application. I recommend it highly. June 25, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by I haven't used it yet. I like that it has both key and combination locks. If the key is in the house, I can just use the combination. However, I haven't used it yet because they haven't built the gate yet. So, I'm not so sure how easy it will be to set the combination. I'm not good at that sort of thing but it's probably easy enough. June 10, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Lock over site This lock has preformed with out failure for years for me. Found out no more locks so I had to purchase I have about 11 of these in service some for 10 years June 28, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by poor purchase could not get lock to work, and that tiny key could easily be lost or broken June 24, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great lock, easy to program and heavy duty I was tired of kids loosing keys to the old locks and decided to try this one. It was a good decision. June 28, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Easy to set It's easy to set your own combination with the 175 series master lock. Great for commercial applications where combinations needs to be changed regularly due to personnel changes. May 17, 2016
