Answer:
It's on the instructions, but basically open it with factory combo, throw a small 'release lever' on the side, set new combo, rethrow 'release lever', and close the padlock.

No need to see the video. Instructions are included with the lock and are very simple. Just make a note somewhere as to the pattern you choose for unlocking. Very nice lock and works great.

Answer:
Yes, there is a hidden compartment in the bottom of the lock packaging where the folded paper with the combo is stored. Not great visibility on packaging showing this. I only knew because one in the store was ripped open on display.

If you mean the combination, each one will be different. There is a you tube video of a guy who says there is a way to hack the combo if you loose it or forget. Look it up and try it.

How do I open and remove from the packaging?

I bought 2 of these now and neither one has a factory set combo to open and remove from the package. Both came with directions and a sticker sheet but no where could be found a way to remove it from the package. Great idea and concept, I'm sure it would work well but I just want to be able to use it.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by I ended up cutting this padlock off with a hack saw I received my padlock from Home Depot. Someone cut open the package and removed the instructions. I found the instructions on line. I set my padlock and played around with it several times until I could get it to unlock, but it didn’t work every time. I wanted a padlock that would unlock quickly as I didn’t want to stand out in the rain and snow while trying to unlock the padlock. I put the lock on a storage facility and I had a very hard time getting it to unlock. It would require several attempts and I would often give up. At some point I decided this was unacceptable, cut it off with a hack saw and replaced it with a keyed lock. I don’t really like using a keyed lock as I may not always have the key with me when I want to enter the storage facility, but this is my best solution. I would not recommend this speed-dial padlock as they are hard to manipulate and unlock. September 6, 2016

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Easy to use! Secure lock and convenient when you only have one hand available. July 26, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Locks Different from everyone else's in the gym. I love this lock & my kids thought they were so cool they unlocked & relocated them so aby times they'll never forget combination like with their previous traditional combination locks. July 14, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Neat lock; poorly designed shackle I really like this lock with it's ability to set an easily remembered combination. It's also much faster to open than any other combination lock I've used. No spinning the dial, no need to find my reading glasses to see the combination. That part is great. Unfortunately, the lock is ultimately unsuited for the one purpose for which I purchased it, locking a gym locker. The shackle simply will not go through the hasp of the locker. It seems to be too long and narrow. A standard Master combination lock fits fine, but this lock will not fit. May 31, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Directions are not nearly as clear as they could be. Only worked first time I changed the combination. Second time would not work. The instructions and packaging were not nearly clear enough. Only worked until I changed the combination second time. Then did not work. July 1, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by OK indoors, worthless near the beach. We have used these locks in protected areas with great success. They are very easy to operate in low light or at night. BUT, they won't last a week in salt air. We placed it on a door protected from direct weather. Within a week, it was very difficult to operate. DON'T BUY IF YOU ARE NEAR THE OCEAN! June 21, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Innovative design. My wife needed a lock which she could operate without looking at numbers on a dial. This lock works great and is easy to use. I had a bit of trouble at first with the written directions, but the website video helped. May 31, 2016
