Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by John Failed Mechanic Design, although product looks good.
Lesson Learned: Do NOT trust the online rating, not accurate. If you want to buy a door, go to the real store to check and feel the real product and talk to real people.
Pro: Product looks good with good material used.
Con: Failed mechanical design. The door is VERY difficult to slide unless special angle or force applied. From this point, this is a FAILED product no matter how good it looks. I think the designer or QA of the manufacture is not doing a good job (this issue should be found and stopped at QA stage) and surprised Home Depot purchasing department not find out the issue either.
The top gap of the moving door to the frame is TOO big, 7/8" (see attached photo). If cheap/light materials used, you will NOT feel this failed design. But this door is using good material and is HEAVY, so you feel good until you operate it. Because it is heavy, you have to apply some force to the door handle to open the door, but due the gap is TOO big and without good assistant sliding guidance, the friction of the frame will make your hand LIFT the moving door a little bit therefore the door is NOT horizontal anymore. You will NOT able to open the door easily and you have to use brutal force to force it sliding. This is a NEW door, as an engineering product manager, I can predict this door will DIE very shortly. (The same gap of Anderson door is less than 1/4", see attached photo, go figuring out). That is why this door is a failed mechanical design and should be recalled to re-manufacture.
Other customers complaining the leaking, not sure this gap contributed or not, I guess it does.
To make things even worse, this product is ONLINE Only. So you have NO chance to know this big hidden failure until the door delivered to you. Remember I mentioned this door is heavy, so without help you have no way to handle it yourself.
Because this is online (www.homedepot.com)order, you can NOT return it once delivered and opened.
Passing this failure to (online) customer is really NOT fair. I can pay restocking fee but I cannot take the whole cost. "homedepot.com" please help to send this feedback to manufacture to fix the failure and stop selling such failed product online to bring trouble to customers and ruin HomeDepot reputation.
I am still working with homedepot.com trying to get my issue resolved. I do NOT want this ill designed product. Sliding Door is mechanical design, good and bad just a few inches away. A door barely or NOT sliding can be called sliding door?

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by windtzu I Regret this Purchase...
I'll keep it simple.
The door looks great and installed easily, working with my carpenter.
Now for the warts...
The door constantly leaks. Water pools in the bottom track. Yes, the door was properly installed-flashed.
When the glass heats up in the summer, the door "swells" that's only way I can explain it, and it becomes stiff-hard to open and close.
A minor point, but still relevant - nickel hardware fails quickly - three years.
Compared to better quality doors, Anderson, Pella, this door doesn't slide as well even when it is working properly.
Given this isn't something that can be popped in and out easily, I'd recommend spending more money on a quality door.

Chose this door over Anderson 200(due to customer remarks) to replace old sliding door on West side of house in KS. Installed the day after Christmas and within 2 days the door would not lock when temps went below 15F-20F with northerly wind. Evidently seals freeze which prevents door from locking unless you simultaneously push on middle frame as you close the door and lock it. Still checking with Home Depot and Manufacturer on this. Would have easily been a 5* door had this not happened because it works fine under all other weather conditions so far. I watched the installation and it was the best I have ever seen. The door is "tight as a drum" when locked and installed properly, which it was. If you live in windy parts of USA give careful consideration to the door you install. I should have installed a more expensive door.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Mike This door is just what we needed.
This door was shipped pretty fast. It was also rather easy to install, although it is heavy . My wife and I had the unit installed in a day. You may wish to consider checking out the Master Piece web sites how-to video.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by kbice Great door for the price
We replaced our french doors with this sliding door and I absolutely love it. It opens up the room so much more and keeps all the cold air out! My house has stayed atleast 2 degrees warmer already and it hasnt snowed yet.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by TRC Door is very good, matching screen is not
The door was easy enough to install with the help of a friend who is a carpenter (would not have attempted otherwise). The door is a good quality for the price. It looks good installed and is satisfactorily air & water tight. It is an upgrade from the previous door we had which basically rotted away from improper installation. My only complaint is with the matching screen. The first screen we purchased was not properly assembled and the edges where the pieces met were misaligned. We returned that one and purchased another. The second one bowed out at the middle which leaves a gap between the screen and the door. Bugs enter through this gap. The screen also does not seem to slide smoothly after a few weeks, even though the tracks are clear of debris and the screen is installed properly, probably has something to do with the bowing. We did not want to bother with a third screen so we asked HD for a credit on the purchase price, which they obliged after we showed them a photo. I am hoping over time the screen will straighten out and slide better after it's worn in a little. We live in Southern NH.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Allib Great hurricane rated door for the money
The local building codes require hurricane rated DP 50
Doors be installed. I looked all over and decided on the Masterpiece doors because of their quality, appearance and price. We are pleased with the look and fit of the doors.
