Customer Reviews

Rated 3.5 out of 5 by 2 reviewers.
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Nice slider, but can use some improvements The quality of the door and the handle are good. The door is attractive. The handle is sturdy and appears to be high quality. The two cons that I noticed are: 1. The door doesn't open all the way. There is a bumper in the back that doesn't allow the door to fully open (you lose about 4-6 inches of door opening space. The purpose of this bumper is so that the sliding part of the door doesn't go all the way back and break off the window blind handle that operates the mini-blinds in between the glass. So on this particular door size, the opening seems too small and a larger person or someone with very broad shoulders may need to walk through the door sideways. 2. The mini-blinds are thin and flimsy, which is fine because you can't touch them. The problem is that when you raise or lower the blinds, some of the slats get crooked and don't set properly. So then you have to bring it up and down more slowly to get them to come up/down evenly and not look off. Overall, I would buy this door again, but would buy the 6 foot one. I had the space for it, but didn't think it was necessary. Now that its in, I would definitely go with the 6 foot one, so I have a decent opening space when the slider is opened. Also doesn't come with a screen door. That would be a nice thing for the door company to include. October 7, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by No Screen! Just spent 1k on this door. We picked it up and found out it doesn't come with a screen! Bummer!! If you want one it is another $100. I'm not happy about that so I rated the door 4 stars instead of 5. Other than the screen issue it seems to be a nice door. September 13, 2013
