Customer Reviews

Rated 3.3 out of 5 by 3 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Opening too small ... 5' wide sliding door only gives you a 20" net walk thru opening ..... The blinds controller lever is thick and will not allow the 24" door to open past 20"... I guess I should have expected that , but didn't realize it until it was fully installed and no turning back.. So us big people will turn sideways to get thru the door.... The added light to the room and the built-in blinds are great ! IF you have the room get the 6' unit rather than the 5' unit.... Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Locking mechanism hard, hard, hard to adjust My contractor ordered two of these doors. The first shipment sat at the freight delivery warehouse. It arrived damaged. One of the old sliders was removed in promised anticipation of delivery the next day. He had to do some investigation to discover that the doors arrived damaged and were to be returned. Home Depot was accommodating and spent a lot of time on the phone with my contractor to resolve and expedite. Fortunately, the slider removed was within my house and I managed to rig up a temporary curtain, albeit with an old curtain and office spring clips! Consequently, the house was in a state of disarray longer than anticipated. Trim for the second exterior slider had been removed and fortunately bad weather did not cause any further damage. The lock on the interior slider has been adjusted numerous times. Contractor coming again yet tomorrow to see if it can be readjusted to lock. September 17, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Not Bad But.... The locking mechanism doesn't work. Therefore, the door slid back and forth during shipping which cracked the frame. Door does NOT have a screen. Delivery took a long time. OK door for a big price tag! Can't wait to see how customer service will handle my issue about the lock not working and the door frame cracked! October 19, 2013
