I could only fry two pieces of fish at a time. The basket should be able to hold at least 4 to 6 pieces of fish.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Deep Fryer I love the size of the fryer, makes cooking for numerous people fast and easy. Maintains temp well and is easy to use, I can tell this will be a great investment for myself already. My only complaint is on home depot I would have liked for the shipment to be boxed so it's more discreet. It was shipped in its original box, so anyone could know its contents. So when I arrived home I found the box on my porch, I'm just blessed to live in a nice neighborhood and it wasn't stolen.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love the fryer capacity. The fryer is large enough to get 5 donuts in at one time....and is a time saver. I wish that the cord for it was longer...It has a safety plug that will pull out if you trip on it...but I find the cord pulls out to easy....and I had to turn my fryer inorder to make it run properly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This electric fryer is what my husband was looking for; not industrial, but can accommodate plenty of frying My husband fried a large amount of fish, onion rings, eggplants, etc. on Father's Day 2013. This little fryer was perfect for a family gathering and the fryer only uses about one gallon of cooking oil. Real econimcal to use verses a commercial one. We have a large butane type fryer, but it uses 10 gallons of cooking oil. The big fryer is too expensive to operate for smaller frying jobs. It was disigned to cook for large crowds. So, the new fryer is perfect for frying foods for a smaller crowd.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good product I purchased this fryer to do hush puppies at our local American Legion every other Friday night. It does an good job of keeping the oil at the right temp and has enough room to do a decent number at a time. We have been very satisfied with its performance.
