Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Boy, great purchase here! Love this grill! I decided to put this together, since my husband swears so much when he gets those jobs - even though Home Depot did offer to assemble for free any grill over $50 - but it was really easy and it came with all the instructions necessary to complete. How many things do you buy that actually have all the instructions written out? All the parts described were easily identified and used, nothing gave me any trouble assembling! And it's a very nice grill, oughta last quite a few years! Big enough for cooking for 5 people or so - and bells and whistles enough for anybody to brag about. I was really pleased! May 31, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great grill, amazing price! Just used this grill for the first time and wow, it's great! It has all the features of the expensive models for at least 1/2 the cost. The ability to light charcoal without lighter fluid is perfect. I was able to fit 6 burgers on with no trouble. For the $40 I paid for it, I recommend it 100%. The grill is sturdy and feels well built. Great buy, you can't go wrong! April 10, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Summer Grill Got this grill as a gift for my (2) oldest sons in their new apartment. It stores great out on the balcony, has enough cooking space for 4 people and the quality is exceptional... May 13, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Value with Some (Completely Expected) Rust I almost never write reviews, but I'm taking the trouble because I'm so impressed even 3 years later. I bought this grill more than 3 years ago, and it does everything I would have wanted. Unlike some other low priced grills, there's enough air flow to barbecue efficiently. And although nobody lives in our home except my wife and me, the cooking space is large enough to accommodate quite a few of our friends if it is used judiciously. Assembly, although a bit tedious, was not very hard because the instructions are very detailed. I have only one complaint, but it's not unexpected. After 3 years, the metal legs (and ONLY the legs) are extremely rusted, to the point where my wife thinks it's an eyesore out on our deck, so we've decided to buy another one to replace it the next time Home Depot puts it on sale even though this is only a cosmetic problem --- functionally, the grill is still operating perfectly, so we're in no rush to pay full price. The rust is partially our own fault because the grill has sat out on the deck completely uncovered for 3 snowy winters, and I'm sure that it would be a lot less rusty if we had simply brought it inside for the winter. In fact, I'm not even sure that a Webber grill which costs about 3 times as much would have been less rusty under those conditions. The only other part that's wearing out is the round grate on which the food directly rests while being cooked --- as expected on any grill, the grate accumulates lots of soot, so we periodically clean it by running it through our self cleaning oven. Each time it is cleaned, the metal spokes get a bit thinner, and if we weren't planning to buy a new grill, we would probably be in the market for a replacement grate, which is readily available in the right size at Home Depot for less than half the price of a new grill. The fact that we will be buying another one soon attests to the fact that we think it's a terrific buy for under $40. December 14, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great for the price Bought this grill today and with just a screwdriver and adjustable wrench I had it assembled in about 20 minutes. As for grilling with it, it works very well and I was able to control the flow of air through it easily. All in all it's worth it for the price. April 28, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Single People Problems As I get older I become more and more confused about how single people are expected to get anything done. That is to say: Screwing the legs on this grill by yourself is a pain in the neck. However, once the legs are affixed, through extreme acrobatic contortion of your body (or getting your neighbor to help you), the rest is easy-peasey. And this grill is great so far. It's a perfect size for our smaller deck, the rack on the bottom is useful for storing all the grilling supplies, the wheels are cheap but work well. For less than $40 this grill is awesome. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great little workhorse grill Bought one of these four years ago. It's been perfect to have on a small 2nd story balcony. This year the handle broke on the ash collector, possibly from metal fatigue because daughter's boyfriend decided to use an entire 20-lb bag of briquettes to grill 8 burgers and 8 hot dogs on 4th of July (eye roll). I'll definitely buy another one next year and monitor the briquette usage more closely. Perfect grill size for 2-3 people per meal, possibly 6-10 people for a potluck/party situation. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good travel grill This is a fantastic grill for the price. My advice- spend an extra few bucks to get a taller grill. great quality. I will be keeping for my camping grill as it breaks down pretty easy. I will be spending more to get a taller grill for my home, with trays for food or tools. March 21, 2015
