I purchased this grill and I found it very hard to assemble some screws and pieces were missing from the new box. After assemble I have used it twice one at a national Park in one at the beach cooks fine good for the cheap price but I think next time I go for a better band.having the pieces like some screws but grill performs OK I think I might get a Weber or another better band brand grill next time around that has better craftsmanship and with no pieces missing I was gonna return it before I used it but I need it for a barbecue so I used it with pieces missing . Cheap price cheap craftsmanship

Small but enough grill space for multiple pieces of food. Like the container that collects the ash for easy disposal and the shelf at the bottom for grill brush, bag of charcol, etc. Also liked the price, it really fit perfectly to my needs..

I was looking to buy a smaller kettle style grill to replace a large Weber that takes up a lot of my limited patio space. I found putting it together to be fairly easy. You do need both a phillipshead screwdriver and an adjustable wrench. I was a little disappointed at the height of the grill when it was put together. I'm not really thrilled with having to bend over as I am cooking or checking on food on the grill. I tried to cook with the self starter feature whcih worked adequately if you dont already have a chimney style charcoal starter. I think the chimney starter works better. The lid comes with a rather odd "hook" that allows you to hang the cover on the side of the grill when you remove it. It works ok, but sometimes you have to fiddle around to get it to find the grill rim. The ash collecting bin is a good feature for such an inexpensive kettle grill.
For the price it is a good grill that I would recommend for those times when you want something that you can use for tailgating or a trip to the picnic grounds. I'm not sure that it is what I had hoped for for home use and will probably donate it to charity. The height being the deciding factor for me. I guess I'll just have to put up with the space hog of my old Weber....

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by RJB Great "Little" Grill
This is a great "little" grill for its ease of use; I use the term "little" to reflect it's convenient size but it has a large enough cooking surface to handle major grilling projects. The bowl is deep enough to hold a good fire for quite a long time: think chicken or unhusked, roasted corn. The air vents, both top and bottom, offer good temperature control. I wish it had a coated grilled surface, but that's the only improvement this product could use. It's easy to clean out the ashes, ignites a fire nicely and is convenient to move around. Definitely a good product for the price.

I've had my grill over a year now. Quality parts and easy to assemble. The only reason I did not rate it 5 stars is that the quick start ignition system does not seem to work well. It's not defective, I just think the space is too tight and it does not receive enough oxygen. Eventually a lot of coals fall down prematurely into that container. Sturdy grill and no issues at all with rust or paint. I'd definitely recommend Masterbuilt products to anyone.

Assembly was a breeze and the ashes' disposal container is a neat trick. And to top it all, the price is quite reasonable.
