easy to assemble. doesn't vent as well as I would like but overall great bang for the buck. good for a secondary grill for use when you don't want to fire up your larger grill.

Had this grill for 3 years, handle on the bottom part broke off, so I made extensions out of galvanized pipe, had a handle out of a piece of cedar, so what it it brakes, fix it, u fix ur car when it brakes down right, so same principle here, I would recommend to all my friends

It took about 45 minutes to assemble this grill. I was surprised at the quality and fit of the grill.
I assembled it and was grilling steaks within a 2 hour period. I have used a charcoal starter before and this works exactly the same. I crumpled 3 sheets of newspaper and put in the ash tray, stacked the charcoal in the center of the grill and lit the paper. The newspaper burned for about 2 or 3 minutes and the charcoal was started. There was no need to add chemicals to my food by using lighter fluid or instant light charcoal. I had a great seal and smoke only escaped from the vents and it was pretty easy to control temp. About 15 minutes later I had a hot and ready grill for cooking. The heat was even across the grate and it grilled a couple of really tastey steaks.
I consider it as good a my old Weber kettle for 1/3 the price. Now if I could just find a cast iron grate it would be amazing. The only one I can find (for this or a weber 22.5) is about $90 which is more than the price of the grill..
I recommend this for someone who needs a nice grill on a budget price!

Ok I know it was only $60 and I bought it thinking it would be kind of disposable. Every piece of metal has totally oxidized over, legs, screws, kettle grate adjuster, etc. to be expected. What I did not expect was both handles to break off and after gorilla glueing them back on, then breaking in a different place. You can get new handles but it will set you back close to the price of a new one. All this after the second season. If you buy this one just plan on replacing it every year
