Answer:
I had to dig a little hole, as it doesn't have a stake like bottom. I dug a little hole stuck it in there and covered the bottom and leaned it against the fence...it's wobbly if you don't pre dig a hole though.

Answer:
Hi Lilly, you can bury the narrow end in the ground a minimum of 6 inches. The sturdiness of this trellis will depend upon the type of ground you have and how heavy of vegetables you're growing.
You can also lean the trellis against a wall or shed. You can attach your trellis to a wall using wire and some small anchors. Attaching the trellis to a wall is the best way.

Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 2 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by It's good for the price It's a simple trellis for my morning glories, I gave it 4 stars because it would be better if it had a stake-like bottom to make it easier to get into the ground. Otherwise love it. June 14, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Cedar Trellis Just what my graden needed to keep it looking nice, this trellis is heavy duty and won't rot. Excellent purchase. July 15, 2014
