Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Adequate I brought this item out of sheer necessity. For the money I couldn't ask for anything more. July 19, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great tool if you don't do enough brick and stone cutting to warrant a saw. This is not for the brick or stone pro who cuts blocks daily. But, for the DIY person who needs to cut a few pieces every now and then it and a two pound hammer (a sixteen ounce hammer will do but not as cleanly.) It does a very good job with a little practice. Now, let's discuss safety. Don't be stupid people. You will be striking metal against metal and metal against rock or stone. Shards are likely to fly off at unknown angles. Wear good gloves and very good eye protection. Cutting limestone I hit a piece of embedded flint . I had to pull a shard of flint out of my fore arm. This is not to scare you but to warn you this is serious stuff. Also, keep others especially children well away from cutting area. This is not rocket science but keep a few extra pieces on hand as cuts don't always go as planned. Use good sense and planning and you should make a great project. June 1, 2016
