Customer Reviews

Rated 4.1 out of 5 by 46 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Looks fantastic! Post looks great; the mail box when attached was slightly shaking side ways but does not affect its use. Overall happy with the product. July 19, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by So easy even I can do it. I put this post in using the ground screw instead of setting it in concrete. My mailbox can take a beating from snow plows so I needed an easy way to replace the post if need be. Took me a couple of hours to put it in, mostly because I had to get an old tree steak out that the old mailbox was wired to. I was able to put the ground screw in and put the post up myself. If you live in a hard clay area, you may need a little extra muscle help. I left this review because #1 I love the product and how it turned out and #2 to show if I can do this myself, anybody can. Posted a pic but haven't mulched or planted flowers yet so don't judge me too harshly. June 1, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very Pleased! We were replacing a similarly styled wood post (again!), and were afraid this one would look too plastic. It looks great, better than the others ever did! It was easy to install and sturdy as well. We are very pleased! July 16, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Looks great, harder to install than it should be There is very little assembly required, so that part of installing is quite easy. The main challenge was that the vertical piece is supposed to slide over a 4" x 4" inch post (actual dimension is 3.5" x 3.5"). It did not fit. I had to apply a lot of force to get it to slide part way but was not able to get it all the way down. I ended up ripping about 1/8" off 2 sides of the post which then allowed it to slide easily but requires either a table saw or a radial arm saw. The post looks great and seems to be quite sturdy. We will see how well the arm that holds the mailbox holds up in the winter with snow plowing on the street. July 8, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice looking mailbox post Very easy to install. The arm that holds the mailbox is a little flimsy however. July 28, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Mailbox Post!!!!! Overall, I'm thrilled... I would have preferred a granite post, but that would have cost 8x as much... It looks great!!! hard to tell it's plastic... The Arm is a little flimsy (otherwise I would have given 5 star) HINT... I was really worried about hitting the base with a weed wacker or mower, so I made a square ring of Plastic Decking to "frame" the bottom of the post... (to keep grass and weeds away)... Looks GREAT! Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Had to return for refund The product ships as 2 packages. When I was notified to pick up the mailbox post, only one package was there to pickup. The other had been lost by the store according to the customer service helpline. I had to return the one package I had received that contained the post with no arm to get a refund and then was asked to re-order online and ship to home if I wanted to buy the product again. I thought this was more time/effort than the quality of the product was worth. My main concern with the part I did receive was durability. It is about molded plastic form with a hollow center that pushes down over the 4x4 post you put in the ground. While the price was similar to what was being charged for similar products by other vendors, it is hard for me to justify ~$140 for thin molded plastic. Now that I have seen part in person, I probably will not reorder at this price. I would rather have something sturdier and/or more durable. I will ship to my home from now on to avoid things getting lost at the store again. June 23, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by leaning mailbox the support arm holding the actual mailbox does not remain at a right angle to the post. It leans downward, the mailbox therefore tilts down toward ground!! June 24, 2016
