Rated 5 out of 5Â by SeaEl Quiet, great features, excellent value!
Surprisingly quiet when cooking, even the two fan speeds are quiet! This unit is a little smaller than previous but good size on the inside. Also, I really like the option of a âno soundâ keypad. Dislike different mounting position of electrical cord and top mounting bolts (standard configuration would be appreciated) from similar previous Maytag product it replaced.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by Robin12349876 For the money, pretty good microwave
Bought online. Free delivery. Old product pickup. They arrived when promised. Although a fairly basic model (it replaces a high-end GE that lasted 10 years), after reviewing various microwaves in this price range, I am pretty satisfied so far. Yeah, it doesn't have all the buttons/options/etc. of a high-end unit, but who really uses all of those at the end of the day. Installation was really easy and instructions were clear. Probably took about an hour tops, but needed three people total (two to hold the unit and one to look underneath and make sure it sat in the bracket hooks properly. Only family complaint I've heard is that it doesn't have a 30 second additional increment button. Give me a break. You hit 3, then 0, then start. Kids.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by mike Probably the best under $200 microwave available
It had everything I wanted: two light intensity (night and bright) that illuminate the stove well, two fan speeds that are both quiet but plenty powerful for a boiling pot of spaghetti, one touch cooking (hit the add minute button), and a way to eliminate the beep that occurs every time you hit a button. It is much quieter than my last microwave, and cooks everything well.
My only gripe, and it is a very MINOR gripe, is that the mounting screw holes are not well placed. One is a couple inches from the edge, the other about 10 inches from the edge. This doesn't sound like an issue, but it caused two for me. First I could only reuse one of the previous holes in the cabinet to mount the microwave--a new hole had to be drilled in the cabinet on the other side. Kind of a bummer. Second, the microwave mounting screw tightened the microwave right up to the cabinet on the left, but because the screw wasn't close to the edge on the right, it wouldn't pull the microwave tight up to the cabinet. I'm only talking a 16th of an inch gap, but it seems like if they just put the screw closer to the edge it would be more structurally sound. It would have been perfect in that case.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Joe88 Great Microwave
Replaced our 14 year old builder GE model. This is larger inside, has a flush turntable so the entire interior is usable (which many do not have, we looked at them all before buying), is twice as fast heating things as the old one. It is easy to operate, very clean looking, and quiet. Has a light underneath with two settings and a fan with filter. Highly recommended. Installation by HD took 15 minutes including removal of the old one.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Dan77346 Great upgrade from builders microwave
The microwave my builder installed lastd 7 years before it would no longet heat the food (magnitron probably) When this one dropped in price to $150 I jumped on it.
The first think I wanted was to be able to punch the time in without having to push a timed cook button first. I don't like the "one touch" cooking options of other (GE) micros in this price range.
This one fits that bill perfectly. All of the push buttons are logically labled and easy to operate with a nice feel to the key pad.
I like the smooth front vent outlet without the grille slots that were a pain to clean on my old unit. The little Matyage emblem gives it a touch of class as well.
It has a reasonable noise level when cooking has a mellow tone that is not innoying. My old unit has a sharp sounding buzz to that was irritating and sounded cheap form day 1.
This Maytag heats the food much faster then my old 950W unit. even though they were the same power level.
The door feels nice and solid considering the price level. It does have plastic latches but they don't feel cheap like some of the other lower priced micros. effortlessly opens and closed It closes with a nice solid thud not a cheel plasticy sounding clang.
Intallation was easy for a do it yourselfer that knows how to use a drill and jigsaw (for outside venting only). My wife helped me and she is not a DIYer.
HD free delivery was on time and curtious to my home.
Overall great product. Good looks, good functlity, and 2 year warranty if you buy it with a credit card that doubles product warrenty. :)
