The only thing that's small about this front load electric dryer is its footprint. Install it almost anywhere and still get a 3.8 cu. ft. commercial-quality stainless-steel dryer drum with the GentleBreeze drying system that provides quick, efficient drying. Select one of the temperature settings - choose the Damp Dry, Iron Dry, Normal, More Dry or a Time Dry cycle - to match the cycle to the fabric type. • Stainless steel dryer drum's smooth surface helps prevent fabrics from snagging or tearing
  • Front controls provide convenient access to the cycle and option selections

Rated 3.9 out of 5 by 41 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice dryer Fits great in our new condo! Been using a month and so far so good. Towels still take longer to dry, but we live right next to ocean. October 3, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Time dry give cold air. I bought this 8 month ago.I like it, except time dry give cold air all others are okay. Repair technician came 3 times can not solve the problem. Finally, he said this machine has changed design, the time dry is giving cold air. I write this here is trying to find someone like me to have same problem. Or confirm this is what it is, not the problem. However online introduction is still say all 11 heating. September 22, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Dries completely and efficiently with little noise. This fits perfectly in a small area -- perfect for one or two people. September 30, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Was defective and took a long time to replace Within days of getting this dryer I realized that it was making an unusual noise. I immediately contacted my salesman who said that he would replace it and placed the order that day. It took at least 5 if not 6 weeks to get the replacement. The new dryer seems to work fine. Rated 2 out of 5 by Would not buy this again I purchased this unit 4 months ago, but finally received it 2 months ago. My selections were limited to dryers less than 27" wide and non-condensing. This was the option I found. Of course, the very same Whirlpool model was being sold, but the only difference is the label on the machine. In the end, I didn't know whether my machine would come with a Maytag or Whirlpool label. Didn't really matter to me. The things that DO matter to me are where this machine falls very short. * The lint trap is clumsy and hard to clean; * Power remains on even when the cycle has ended. So, theoretically, the red light could be illuminating for weeks if you mistakenly left a load of laundry in the dryer before leaving for vacation. Why? * Whirlpool/Maytag might say the reason for leaving the light on is so the machine can continue to tumble to prevent wrinkling if clothes are left after the buzzer buzzes. But that would be a misrepresentation because this dryer wrinkles everything that is not synthetic! Even very small loads of cotton items with plenty of room to tumble and removed immediately when just damp dried come out more wrinkled than I've ever known my clothes could get. * And the buzzer . . . plenty of other reviewers have bemoaned the fact that the buzzer cannot be turned off. It seems a silly feature to omit, even on a low-end unit. However, from my perspective, the buzzer is not the issue. I never even hear it. It is very quiet compared to the grinding, churning sound that accompanies the loudest appliance I have ever heard. My unit is in my basement. My home office in two floors up from the basement. Yet, I hear the constant grrrrrrrrrrrrr sound of this dryer through it's entire cycle. I can't hear the buzzer in my upstairs office - I know the dryer is done b/c of the lack of annoying grinding from the basement dryer. Despite being small, this dryer can dry a Queen sized comforter. Nothing else can be in the load with it, but still it does one thing I need it to do. There are few vented, compact dryers on the market. It's disappointing that this is not a good option. While I say I wouldn't buy it again, I'm not even sure if I have a choice of something better that is compact and vented. It's hard to put clothes out on the line in the winter in WI.
