Product Overview

If you're looking for the perfect wall oven, this one is just right. With a 5.0 cu. ft. capacity oven, a 1.4 cu. ft. microwave built in and a 10-year limited parts warranty on the elements, this combination oven is made to last. The LCD touchscreen controls make it easy to select baking options, like EvenAir True Convection, which roasts food up to 30% faster than a standard oven. The sensor microwave with drop down door turns this unit into an all-in-one cooking station to free up counter space for preparation. And not only does this oven offer the space to get it all done and the power to get it done fast, it's designed, engineered and assembled in the U.S.A.

Do you make this maytag oven/microwave in 24 inches????

Asked by: Anonymous
karen, Maytag offers a 24" double and single wall oven, however we do not have a microwave/oven combination in that size. I am going to attach a couple of the 24" options for you to view. Thank you for viewing this Maytag Home Appliance.

Customer Reviews

30 in. Electric Convection Wall Oven with Built-In Microwave in Black is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 36.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Well designed, very pretty and functional We replaced our old unit (Kitchen Aid) with this wall oven. The old unit was about 12 yrs old. (Could not find replacement touch pad which is a problem with these Whirlpool built units) Even so, we were due for a new oven and this one does incorporate many new and useful features. Convection feature upgraded, cosmetics, including window glasses, doors and handles have been improved. Touch panel seems to be higher quality than older unit.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This product was deliveried with major quaility control issu Our new unit arrived and was installed, we then discovered that both ovendoors handles were not properly finished. Specific issues - improerly sanded and gaping holes in backside of each. The Microwave oven was no better because it was defective from the start with a power fault or short in the oven light! It would go on and off for no reason. Bottomline this unit should never have been sent to a customer and the quality inspectors need training or should be removed

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Too noisy This is a beautiful unit. I love the quick preheat function. I like the separate timers for combo cooking in micro and in oven. I am sure there are other good features that I have not yet discovered. After using this unit for a few months, I wish that I had not purchased a convect oven. The main problem is that it runs, and runs and runs after you turn it off. I have questioned Maytag on this, and was told it is cooling down. This (Loud) noise is very irritating when you are trying to eat the meal you have just put a lot of effort into making. I have had no previous experience with a convection oven; the Use & Care Guide should have provided a little more info on the noise level and what to expect. I am NOT recommending this unit based strictly on the noise level.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great oven, irratating controls We purchased this built in oven to replace a 12 year old unit from another manufacturer that basically started falling apart. This oven is above and beyond the old unit even when it was new. It has sleek styling, is a lot quiter than the old unit and functions beautifully. The only negative is the controls are a little cumbersome. You can't just throw in a dinner plate and hit 30 seconds of warm-up, but rather you need to go through a couple of menu picks to get where you need to be. Other than that it is great. We have had it since Dec 2013, so I wouldn't call this a long term review, but so far so good.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Product is good, but needs some tweeking We bought this oven/microwave combo when our 13 year old unit decided to quit. We wanted to get a double oven and move microwave over cooktop, but due to the cabinet size, we had to go with an oven/microwave. We picked this one because of the oven size, "powerpreheat", and the overall finish. Love the oven capacity, I fit my Thanksgiving turkey and 2 large casserole pans in the oven at the same time. The control pad takes a little time getting used too, and requires a few extra steps before your "cooking" 2 Major concerns are that the timer sounds are way too low, and the power preheat takes forever to warm up (like 15 to 20 minutes to get to 375 degrees) Pros: Layout, Oven Size, and cooks well once preheated. Cons: Timer Sounds, Slow Preheat

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good performance..Lacking in design Overall this unit has been providing good performance. Looks good . Fan noise is a bit loud but show me a electric oven that is not loud. its a bit slow getting to cooking temperature but once its there it cooks evenly. If your slow of hearing and use a timer while cooking in oven I wouldn't recommend this unit. timer and control chimes are really low . Unit has great capacity and has a lower rack that pulls out for heavier loads. Keypad interface is a little confusing and takes a while to get used to. Pros: Great capacity. Cooks evenly. love to bottom slider rack on the oven Cons: Timer chime is way too low (got to be within 15 feet to hear it) . Key pad controls design ( you have to push hard ) . Keypad interface ( a little confusing ). Fan noise ( a little loud )

Rated 1 out of 5 by from worst ever The oven and microwave work great when they work, my oven stopped working and only had it 8 months but when it does work cooks very well. The display and buttons are horrible, the display can only be read if your looking straight at it and the buttons have a long delay before response. If you pull something out of the microwave and put another dish in right after you'll be prompted to open and close the door again before you can start it. And yes the oven is VERY loud, mine has a whistle too

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do not buy Maytag or Whirlpool I bought this in February, it was delivered in March and installed the end of June. The oven is extremely noisy, but we put up with that. What really was bad is the microwave handle started coming off after 6 mo. When I called the Maytag service number I was informed that it might not be covered under warranty. They couldn't say until the repair person came, but would I like to buy the extended warranty to cover after the year was up. I then had to call the local repair person and they informed me the warranty probably wouldn't cover the door handle as it is something we could fix, but if we tried to it would void the warranty. Go figure. So my husband fixed it. Which involved removing the door and screw covers.I will never buy Maytag (which is made by Whirlpool) again as their warranty isn't worth the paper it is written on.
