Customer Questions & Answers

Fridge door handle

Can the fridge door handle be switched to the other side to open from the right?
Asked by: Alex
Yes the door handle can be switched, as a matter of fact I had my handles switched to open from the right. The delivery men did a good job and there was no additional cost when I ordered. The handles have a professional appearance and are sturdy.

is the freezer a roll out?

Asked by: clarice
The freezer is a pull out drawer with an additional pull out shelf which contains the ice and additional storage. The large drawer and shelf are easy to pull out and push in.

What do the sides of the refrigerator look like? are they stainless?

Asked by: Bubba
The sides are painted a dark gray. Only a small portion is exposed in our kitchen and it doesn't take away from the appearance.

Customer Reviews

30 in. W 18.7 cu. ft. Bottom Freezer Refrigerator in White with Stainless Steel Handles is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 388.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loving our new refrigerator! We love the size of the refrigerator -- it isn't massive. My husband is quite tall so having the refrigerator up top is important. The door has different depth shelves, so many items can be placed there. We also like the roomy, slide-out freezer bin -- it has ample room, and isn't huge so things won't get lost for years at the bottom of the freezer. We also like the handles on the doors; a little different, and functional for dish towels. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice fridge but a bit pricey. I was limited in space, due to kitchen cabinet configurations when shopping for a new fridge and I really wanted the bottom freezer style. This one is the same CF as my old one but seems smaller. The wide single drawer in the top compartment is difficult to slide in and out when full. Veggie crispers hold much less than my old one. I could have gotten a bigger fridge for less money, but now they are too tall. I wish I had bought a bigger old style fridge(freezer on top) or replaced the cabinet above the space my fridge goes into. It looks nice, just wish I had done it differently. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best refrigerator I have ever owned I am almost 70 years old so I have had several refrigerator in my adult life-time. This frig is very sensible in design. When you open the refrigerator door there is a nice 6" lip at the base that I use very day to rest a bowl of leftovers or 1/2 gallon of milk on, as I reach for something behind. Before, I would have to remove items and set them on the counter-top, reach in to get what I needed, then turn around and place everything on the counter-top back into the frig. This 6" ledge is a very thoughtful feature for seniors. Nice room inside and shelving if great. Freezer below is easy access. I highly recommend. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice fridge but a bit pricey for the size. Due to cabinet configurations I was limited on styles to pick. I really wanted the bottom freezer fridge. This one fits, but even though it is the same CF as my old one, it seems smaller, especially the crisper drawers. The wide single drawer does not slide in and out very easy when full. If I had the space I could have gotten a bigger fridge for less money. It seems alot of the new fridges are much taller than standard openings. All in all, it looks nice, but I wish I had just goten a bigger top freezer fridge, or removed the cabinet in my kitchen to fit a another model in.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Freezer Leaks Water - Not Covered Under Warranty!!!! There are several YouTube videos that show the drain tube in the back of the freezer that goes from the evaporator to the dip pan freezes up. When it freezes up you end up with a puddle in front of your refrigerator. We just leave a towel constantly on the floor in front of the unit. There is a repair kit to fix the drain tube with a larger diameter tube - BUT - this is no easy fix! The whole interior liner in the lower freezer compartment has to be taken out to get access besides the entire door and rack. This should have been a warranty item since it is a bad design but it is not a warranty item. The bottom pan inside the freezer will fill with water and then freeze. When the frozen water is at a thickness that is taller than the lip of the lower pan inside the freezer compartment, then the water runs across the frozen water in the compartment onto your floor. The drip pan meanwhile is dry as a bone.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Really like this refridgerator! We just switched to a bottom freezer and it's been so much easier to use both the refrigerator and freezer. The one comment I have is that it's taken a bit to get used to the refrigerator shelf brackets which I believe are designed to support heavy loads - and they really do! But they tend to stick down so using the shelf below is segmented. They don't take up a lot of space you just have to remember they are there. Otherwise I would definitely give this refrigerator 5 stars so far. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Freezer at the bottom so much better. We bought our refrigerator about 6 weeks ago and after having a broken, sick refrigerator a was really excited. Our ice maker is in the freezer and works great for us. I'm not sure families with children find it as workable. My biggest regret is it is 4 Cubic feet smaller that the last refrigerator.4 cubic ft is a whole lot of space. We went with our measurements, so it was our problem. I find the produce drawers and the meat drawer to be small =( [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 4 out of 5 by from OK except . . . The freezer compartment, on the bottom allows small debris to fall on the kitchen floor -- it does not have a solid bottom. Also, the freezer light worked inconsistently and the switch on the light had to be replaced less than a month after the appliance was delivered. It took more than a week to get a service technician -- with a cancelled appointment on their end. However, after a rocky start it seems to be fine now.
