Thrilled at 1st. 3 years later disappointed. My dishwasher & range are made with a much higher grade of stainless steel. The plastic which finishes the under side of the doors actually broke in two at the hinge area. I believe this was caused by forcing plasic over severely bulging metal. Very poor design. The plastic is not a purchasable part and is necessary for hinge to work correctly. I now must buy entire door. Hope it matches. Ice maker very slow. Takes 3 to 4 days to fill bin. If you are having a party- make a lot of ice a head of time.
On plus side - Love bottom freezer and general layout of fridge.
I would not!!!!! buy another maytag. No Bang for Buck here.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by AJ88 Great Fridge for the limited space. Feels like a bigger fridge.
Ran into a difficult situation as the people who redid our kitchen went with a very small fridge space, custom cabinets and granite counter tops really limited our selection. While this unit doesn't have a water and ice dispenser it is by far a very accommodating amount of space. Ease of access and viewing of the food in the fridge is great too. Shipping was fast, and installation was professional. Overall, we have no complaints and are quite happy with the purchase.

The layout is very well thought out. Great features, very efficient. Ice maker works great. Very very happy with it. The installer said to use baby oil to clean it. I thought that was crazy, but it's the best! We had a tight spot to fit the fridge in and it just made it. Looks great

We bought this about a 1/12 yrs. ago. We have had a repairman out twice now. The first time was when it was about 6 months old. We were getting a lot of water under the meat drawer. He thought the problem was that the filter to the icemaker was bad, so we had to purchase another filter at the cost of about $45.00. That seemed to help. Then about 2 months ago it stopped cooling, the repairman said that it was leaking water onto the freezer fan which was making it not cool. He was not sure why, thought maybe it was the water filter housing and said maybe we should try that. He took the fridge's inside apart trying to find the problem and when he left we discovered that the control panel doesn't work right now We are now getting water on the floor in front of it and a built up of ice on the freezer bottom.We disconnected the water going into the fridge for the icemaker but that isn't helping.. When I called about that they said that would be another "service charge". We aren't sure what we are going to do at this point. Keep It or not????

Nice fridge for size. Great lighting. Shelves cannot be adjusted for those taller items. Like the slide in drawer, but one needs to remove everything off of the shelf to use that feature for those special occasions. Crisper drawer does not fit into the rails properly causing the drawer to continuously fall off its rail. Eventually this plastic will break !!

The unit fit perfectly in the available space. The interior layout makes everything visible and within easy reach. It is designed to fit into a smaller space but this does not limit the interior space of the refridgerator whatsoever.

Delivered 9/16 and called after 8 hours and told the top was not cooling and was told to wait for 24 hours. So I called Maytag itself for assistance and they said to wait 24 hours (I told them also no air in the refrigerator part, but, freezer was fine) After 24 hours called back where I purchased it and was told the service man was off for the day. Called Maytag again and was told I needed a service man to come out and they said was the 23rd ok????? Basically if you buy a new product you would expect it to work when plugged in and not have to wait for several days for a technician. I had been without refridgeration since Monday and here it is Friday! We did have a medication that needed to be refridgerated to make matters worse!!!! Paying cash does not help by the way. It is very hard to evaluate the product at this time. The Maytag refrridgerator before this was only 7 years old!!! So after this I will rethink.
