We love this oven. Looks great and the versatility of two ovens is great. The only problem was it wasn't an easy install as expected. The back of your typical oven is cut out at the bottom in order to accomodate your wall plug. I had to move my wall plug up and over a couple inches and cut out part of the back oven panel in order to get the oven to sit back against the wall like it was supposed to. My plug was at the floor and centered in the oven opening. You may not have this problem if your plug is either to the side or recessed. Or you could just let it sit a couple inches away from the wall.

Spent serveral days researching ranges and found this to be the best value for the buck. The speed heat option is amazing. The triple burner feature allows for using any size pot or pan. First convection oven and will never go back.

It is a perfect selection. The style is updated with a very strong handle and easy to remove oven doors. I am so happy about the stove top and the extra burner/warmer. Easy to clean and not to mention the wonderful option to have a convection oven that is separate from the conventional over. Free standing. Did I mention that it has so many settings. It has a Sabbath setting for use by Sabbatharian. No Coooking on the Sabbath.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by ww1322 Not what we expected from Maytag.
We decided to change the color of the kitchen, so of course we needed to replace our perfectly good appliances with new ones. After a lot of research we decided on this model. We purchased this in July of 2012 and have had problems with the triple burner burning out along with the switch knob for that burner. First off if you have a choice with repair DO NOT USE A&E Factory repair, never on time even with 4 hour window and always in a hurry plus they ordered the wrong part, go figure. The burner and switch we just chalked up to maybe being made on Friday afternoon or Monday morning, but 2 months into ownership of this stove and the top around the burner rings are scorching and of course "its not covered" ONLY 2 MONTHS INTO OWNING IT, are you kidding me? we owned a Hotpoint glass top stove for twelve years and NEVER had a problem with the top marking up. You can take this for what its worth but save yourself the aggravation and learn from my mistake, look for a different stove.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Rebecca Pretty, but not as functional as I would like
I LOVE having the double oven more than I thought I would. It looks nice and cleans up well. However, there are a few things I don't like about this range's design and functionality.
1. The knobs are nice and sleek looking, but they are so sleek, it's a bit hard to tell if the burner is off or at 1/2 power (which end is up?).
2. The two largest burners are in the fronts, so if you have two larger pots up front, you can't safely get to the smaller pots that are lower in the back.
3. The broiling in the little oven is a bit closer than I would like. The fish and chicken turned out great. The cauliflower was a bit burnt on the top tips.
4. Perhaps I just haven't read enough on how to work it yet, but it seems that to get a 45 min. timer, you need to hit the button 45 times or hold it in and it goes pretty slowly. 2 hour timer needs even long. Goodness knows how long I will be standing there to set the timer when I cook a turkey.
5. The buttons are also a bit hard to hit. You you have to push pretty hard to set the time/temp which is annoying since you have to hit it so many times for each anyway.

I purchase upper line of Maytag appliances in the past and have been satified with their quality. My kitchen lacks the space for a traditional double oven, so this combo is a good alternate. In the past, cooking for Thanksgiving has been challenging; hopefully, this year will be easier. The turkey will go in the lower oven and the sides in the upper oven. I use the upper oven (smaller unit) for most of my routine cooking. The cleaning of the glass cooktop and baking in the convection lower oven did present a learning curve; however, it was not difficult to learn a different way to clean and cook. I would highly recommend this appliance!

After a month this oven is working as expected. It is an absolutely beautiful appliance which is a weird thing to say about a stove. We have gotten many compliments on the look of the double oven and it greatly enhanced the beauty of our dated kitchen. It is a lot more expensive than the single oven but worth it in my opinion. The small upper oven is what we use most for frozen pizza and baked goods. It heats up real fast because of the small size and cooks well. Shop around for a good price especially when buying multiple appliances. Grants appliances had great prices and maytag was offering a rebate which enticed us further to the Maytag brand.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by a cook in ct I hate this stove
I had the original Gemini double oven range and I absolutely loved it. When the controller went I foolishly decided to upgrade to the new model. I can't being to tell you how sorry I am. First the cook top layout is a mess. The three back burners are useless. They are so small that I can't even bring a 2 quart pan with 4 potatoes to a boil. Having the 2 large elements in the front is another problem. One large in the front and one in the back makes much more sense. The lower oven takes forever to preheat and if I have to change the temperature while I'm cooking, it can take up to 1/2 hour to raise the temp 25 degrees. There is only one timer even though there are 2 ovens. If you like to cook don't waste your money. I'm sorry I did.
